Rob’s Ramblings
Nuff Said…

December 8th, 2009 by

So there’s zombies in Sanriotown? I was raised on zombie movies. You can just walk right passed them.

The sci-fi con was great, and my Klingon costume was finally complete.

Also, anyone wanna play some disc golf? I set up a course right here in Sanriotown!

Been A While

Glad Mimmy’s back safe. I just might show up at the ice cream party. Gearing up for a big sci-fi convention in November. Gotta get my costume finished by then.

Hmm, Well Now…

I hope Mimmy’s ok when she gets back home.

Mission Accomplished…

I couldn’t find a big enough yellow ribbon or flower, so I got a yellow visor and  finally converted my Hello Kitty plush in to a Mimmy plush.

An Awesome 4th!

Steve, my boyfriend of 3 years, bought me a ring today! A blue sapphire! I also picked up a Hello Kitty plush from Build a Bear! She has a leather Harley jacket and black jeans. I’ll need to alter her to look like Mimmy though.

Influential Albums

July 3rd, 2009 by

Some of my favs:

Rush: Moving Pictures (1981) The first Rush album I ever bought. It is still there all time best.

Kiss: Creatures of the Night (1982) This is the album where Kiss go back to their metal roots after the disco of Dynasty and the pop of Unmasked.

The Dickies: Stukhas over Disneyland (1982) One of The Dickies best. Nothing like good punk!

Rush: Grace Under Pressure (1984) This was the second best Rush album in my opinion.

Gwar: Scumdogs of the Universe (1991) Their second album that launched them in to the mainstream.

Green Jelly: Cereal Killer Soundtrack (1992) This debuted their first hit which was their rendition of The Three Little Pigs.

Green Jelly, one of my favorite bands, are back together and on tour. Of course, they’re not coming any where near where I live! Arg!

Come to think of it…

I’ve become a fan of Mimmy too. Kitty seems a little too swollen up with herself.
