I go to a magnet high school for technology and science and it's like a prison! I took Latin last year and I miss it sooooo much. Don't take spanish! I'm stuck with spanish now because it's the only language offered in my school! And it is horrible! You have to listen to spanish tapes and remember a longgg list of vocabulary. Latin was much better where the translating was easy and remembering quotes and history isn't so bad... I have friends who took french and they said it was really fun! Take French!! Don't let your mom make up your mind or else its going to ruin your grades because your going to be studying something you don't want to study! It surely is ruining mine, i'm getting a C in first year spanish compared to the A I got in Latin last year. I'm going to study japanese once I can go to community collage during my junior year.. Only study a language your interested in or else you will fail! Its like going to collage and studying a major you don't like, it would be hell! Take my word for it, take french..
