As I was reading the informational page labeled “Game Intro” I became enthralled with the pictures and distracted from the words involved. I scrolled up and down the page enlarging all the pictures to view them and their awesomeness.  it was, for lack of a better term, “Kick ass.”

However once I decided it would be in my best interest to buckle down and read the text before jumping to such excitement, I became discouraged at the second block of text.

Set Up

First you must create a SanrioTown account. Once you have an account, download the game client and install it on your PC.

Log in to Hello Kitty Online using your SanrioTown username and password. Choose which server to play on, and the character creation process will begin. You can customize your character’s hair, hair accessories, facial features, clothes, shoes, and handheld items to set up your own original Sanrio toon. The customization options are diverse in order to ensure a well-varied game community.

Once you’ve finished customizing your character, you’re all set to take your first steps in Hello Kitty’s world.”

Read that first paragraph out loud and clearly…

 I have made bold the part of discouragement. PC!? PC!? Really!? Where’s my PC? Huh?

I must’ve blanked out on the day when the world decided that us Mac users were completely worthless. I must’ve missed the day when those of us who decided to own a computer that did allow a million virus’, break down every other second or cause multiple problems were required to suffer by not being allowed to download anything or play any online games.

Why the hell does EVERYTHING have to be made for PCs? What happened to the entire fact that Mac computers are on a rise as far as sales are concerned so it would only be deemed logical to make things both Mac and PC compatible.

I want to play this game. I want to fight monsters and dig for gold with fellow HK lovers! Why am I being denied that right because they’re to lazy to insure that this game is able to be played by Mac users as well?
