That concept, along with the idea of giving Earl Cain Hargreaves a pimped top hat to look like Ciel Phantomhive’s became this. I’ve never actually seen a card from those cafés, but I imagine this is sort of what they’d look like.

I like how the photo I took of a real café worked really well into the artwork. Deep blues and purples really work well for Cain, though I think I should have drawn in more feathers… the skull on his hat was really fun to pain too! I might try drawing one again later on… Maybe an artwork of Ciel next?

I wish my scanner would get fixed soon though… I want to finish my doujin already! ;~;

…also, I find this commotion over the “doctored photo” really amusing. Haha! I hope you guys enjoy it too~

Then I went to the cafe to read it. It was rather cute… despite the vampire-ish genre that people have come to use and abuse lately, RE: play was pretty nice to read.

Then I found Nyanko-chan on Deviant Art and joined her contest.

I’m happy I got a special mention. It was a pretty fun contest, and I wish I had found out about it sooner, so that I could have prepared more.

You have to admit, Cake Angels like Tag really are the best kind of angels.

Unfortunately, my scanner died on me. I have a few pages I want to work on, but I can’t until I get my scanner fixed. And I haven’t had the time to do so lately.

I’m a little worried about my brother… he’s older than me, so I should be worried, actually. ~_~ I must be weird or something.

Now that I’m looking this cover again, though… I can tell you the perspective is totally off for this picture. I need to draw more characters will different backgrounds for practice.

However, I think I want to learn how to be less anime like and blend the colors more. I’m just impatient with the blending process as it takes up a lot of time.

I’m beginning to loosen up a little now. I used to not correct my ink work on the PC because I felt it was “cheating” to do so. For this piece, I went ahead and flipped, moved, redraw anything I thought needed to be changed. I’m pretty happy with how this came out… although I’ll probably change the color of the teapot on the right. and edit the BG a little bit.

I think I want to draw other characters now…

I’ve been busy running around a lot lately. I wanted to draw something with a lot of detail on it, and a friend of mine sent me a fanart of Onegai My Melody showing some of the characters cosplaying as Rozen Maiden characters. I wanted to expand on it a little bit more, since it only had Uta dressed as Shinku, Koto dressed as Suiseiseki, and My Melody dressed as Hinaichigo.

I came up with this art, “Onegai My Rozen Maiden Melody”, featuring all 8 dolls from Rozen Maiden. I only wonder if Hiiragi and Jun will kill me for dressing them up as Kirakishou and Barasuishou? Haha!

I don’t like the background too much though. I might end up re-drawing that later on.

I didn’t know dA had such nifty embed codes. ^_^ At least this will give me a much easier time to share some art.

Still no wacom at the moment, so I can’t sketch as much as I use to. =( *sniffles* I miss speed drawing…

EDIT: Ok, maybe it’s not so nifty after all… Or Sanriotown codes are messed up. Time for some bug reporting..!

There’s this thing GM Abby made which is commonly known as the Grand Order of the Box Pig. It’s a Hello Kitty Online creature that caught my attention. So I thought I’d make a really tiny one for the cause.

I think it’s about half an inch high? Modeling clay is a medium that I play around with a lot, but since it’s modeling clay, it doesn’t harden. So I have to put them in glass jars to keep them safe.

Most of you know Kuromi’s Blog, right? Well, this is me telling you that I write for that blog and this one.

Yep, both blogs are made by one person. You can check out my Deviant Art account too if you’d like to know more.

The reason why I haven’t been around much is because my wacom is broken… Most of the pictures I drew for this blog were made straight onto the computer as a form of practice for my skills.

Unfortunately, with no wacom and scanner, I had to stop drawing for a while. The sketch I have on the right was done manually with a paper and mechanical pencil. The backgrounds were drawn in Photoshop and so is the copyright underneath it.

Anyway, I still don’t have a wacom, so updates will be scarce… Hopefully I can keep updating Kuromi’s though. ^_^ Hope you guys like this sketch I made!

That is the game we call life.

This is how I picture Kuromi when she grows up, 7 years after the ending of the anime. Because she loved Hiiragi so much, she decided to give up her bunny form, and her magic altogether, making her an ordinary human.

No tail, no black notes, and no more My Melo and Baku.

But the question is, did Hiiragi accept her eventually? She gave up everything just to be with him, so will he love her now the way she does him?

Maybe… maybe not… ^_^
