That album is Acid Black Cherry’s cover album, Recreation, released last May 21, 2008. I’ve been in love with it since forever, and yesterday, I decided that I will download ALL THE ORIGINAL SONGS and form Recreated. LOL. That’s what I’m naming the playlist, because they’re the original versions of the songs and, oh, you get it. XD

yesterday i attended the funeral. ^u^ it wasnt as boring as i thought it would be (im so sorry for that), but it was okay. if i had gone on the first day, i would have been able to see Steffi~! Peppy, Enrique, Alexa and Pei were there, too~ but i didnt see them because i went yesterday! (_ _||) anyway, Paolo (Bantegui) was there yesterday. he arrived a few minutes before i did. i would have been there before him if mom didnt make a wrong turn and made us waste almost 30 minutes. XD it was fun talking to him again. we normally dont talk to each other that much, so i guess it was our first time talking to each other for that long. ( ＾▽＾) i also met some people that time~ i met Paulo Villar, who goes to Gaia’s school as well. i think they were in the same course too. i have no idea~ ( ;;＾ｰ＾) he was really nice though, and he kind of reminded me of my cousin~ i also met Gaia’s aunt Mary Jane. she is soooooo fun~! ^u^ ohh and her eyes were really pretty, nano~~ hoho~! when i arrived, there werent much people, and i could freely move around. at around 5PM, the room started to fill! @ n @ aaaahh~!!! there were so many people, i didnt like it! > . < i dont like places with many people! so Gaia and i stayed at the back, talking. ◠ ◡ ◠ ♥ later on, Gabbi and her yaya (i forgot her name T◠T) arrived~!!! kyaaaaa Gabbi~!! ♥o♥ i want to pokey pokey her little cheeks because she is choooo cute~! ( ＾▽＾)σ)゜ｰ゜) she kept running around the room. then she walked by us and Gaia called her. Gabbi approached us and Gaia just grabbed her and pulled her to sit on her lap saying “i wont let you go! i wont let you go!” then Gabbi started screaming and tried getting away XDDDD Gaia is an evil aunt XDD my aunt arrived at around 7:30PM to pick me up. she stopped by to pay her respects before we left. ohh, but just after my aunt arrived, Joane arrived too. she said she came from school. :P anyway, i said good bye to tita Angel before we left. but! i forgot to say good bye to tita Mary Jane! please dont think im rude! T-T

okay, i learned something from Sacchan smalltownsburns  while reading her Shintaro translations, so my title is 『What’sですよ！』 (its like “WTF” in Hey! Say! JUMP fans’ language. lol) why? because i just saw the Hey! Say! JUMP Popolo August 2008 scans! i cant believe it! how could they let a 13 year old boy pose topless for an idol magazine?! i should fucking kill them for that! Σ(`Д´*) it is just so wrong!!! people might be looking at a kid’s topless pic and thinking dirty things about him! >.> (but for me, if its ken, its okay! xD) im weird. ugh. im mad because of the photoshoot, but i cant help but look at it. XD WTF. but i did notice a few things~~ 1.) Keito is HOT. ♥o♥ *dies* especially in his solo page! my goodness. i shouldnt be saying this, but eeee~! its true! >◡<ive ever seen him like that. ever! ever ever ever. @◡@ (<— eww pedo look) 2.) (even though i dont like-) Yabu has got to be one of the skinniest boys ive ever seen. seriously, boy, you have to eat! Hey! Say! 7 has better looking bodies than you! you got beaten by a bunch 15 year olds! XD 3.) Chinen, Yamada and Nakajima are SCARY. @__@ seriously. well, Yamada is okay, but Yuto and Chinen… SCARY. 4.) (again, even though i dont like-) Takaki somewhat reminds me of Tsubie~! that should be a plus for him, since i just compared him to Imai Tsubasa. XD lol. 5.) Hikaru has dark nubs (_ _||) im laughing about it, even though it is just so wrong for me to. ohh remember when i said i found BlogPet on someone’s Jugem? the person had a really lovely BGM~! i asked her what the song title was and who sang it (it was written there on her Jugem and i didnt see it (;;` ｰ´) boo!) and she said it was “Aishiteru” by Shimizu Shota. he is really good! i loved the song so much i didnt want to leave her page! XD ill go search for the song now~~

yesterday, i was browsing through random websites, and i found this one at jugem and the owner had a BlogPet and it was so cute! >u< i wanted to go and get one for myself, and it did! i wanted to put him on my LJ, but LJ is a butt and wont allow Javascript. Y-Y even WordPress wont allow it, and i know Multiply doesnt allow it either! hmph. so for the sake of the blog petto, i made another blog in Blogdrive. XD yes i know i have WAY TOO MANY BLOGS. so what? i want other people outside LJ and Multiply to reply to my blogs. i like meeting different people from different blogging sites, thats why i make multiply blogs with same contents. LOL. i know its funny, but its fun, anyways. i get to experiment with different layouts, too. XD okay, so you can find my little burogu petto here, in After Love. i named him “Mobun” because, i dont know. its sounds cute. XD there is no real content yet, though, and just filler entries, because i am planning to organize the fanlistings i joined 2 to 3 years ago and put them all there, and other stuff. i dont want to put all my FLs on LJ because it will ruin the look of my journal. my journal is a narcist. HAHAHA. lol.

speaking of layout, i finally finished my graphic journal’s new layout~~ its Saiyuki themed! ^0^ im going back to my Saiyuki craze~ fufufu. seriously, Saiyuki was the first thing that i really loved about Japan. sure i loved Sailor Moon, Card Captor Sakura and Inu Yasha, and even Akazukin Chacha (OMG! XD), but not as much as i loved Saiyuki! HAHA. Saiyuki came before Laruku! >u< even though there is no conection between them, it was Saiyuki that led me to Laruku. strange? strange? it was because of an audio cd dad made for me! back then i was very much into Saiyuki and RuroKen (Rurouni Kenshin. Samurai X in the local channels). in fact, i was so into those anime, that when i watch it, i would always have my notebook with me to list down episode titles and names of the new characters that come along in the series XDDDDD it was easy back then because they showed it in original Japanese with subs in AXN (which i think was channel 24 back then) so it was easy to write the names without worrying about spelling. XD i also learned some of the Japanese phrases i know from watching Saiyuki!! XD anyway im getting too off topic! what was i supposed to tell you about? ohh! the audio cd! dad asked me and my sibs if we wanted a cd made, so i gave him song titles. i didnt know most of the titles because they were written in Japanese! @__@ except for Saiyuki, though, because the song titles were in English. hmm… lets see if i remember. the first opening (this is Gensomaden Saiyuki, okay? not Reload, not Gunlock) was For Real by Tokuyama Hidenori, and the first ending was… uhh… Tightrope by Charcoal Filter! the second opening was Still Time by, again, Tokuyama Hidenori and the second closing was Alone by Shimokawa Mikuni! the insert song was Open Up Your Mind by Mirai. lol. XD i had the openings and endings put in the cd, as well as Heart of Sword by TM Revolution from RuroKen, but back then, i had no idea who TMR was, nor did i know he was the one who sang it. XD anyway, so dad made the cd for me. when he got home from work, he said he had added the RuroKen movie theme! and we all know what the theme song was, right? yep! NIJI~!!! i loved the song when i heard it, but i didnt know it was Laruku, till 2004, when Animax started airing on local TV. one of the first anime in Animax here in the Philippines was GTO. GTO Opening = Driver’s High = Laruku. but again, i didnt know it was Laruku, till i was introduced to blogging by my friend, Jam (who is 2 years my senior). my first blog was in Blogdrive (its still online, though i had removed all the entries already), and i visited her blog (which was still in Blogdrive, till now) every now and then. then i found a button there that led me to Gendou’s Anime Music, and so i searched for GTO and got Driver’s High~ i dont remember the rest, but i guess if it really werent for Saiyuki (and RuroKen), i wouldnt know about Laruku. >u<v Yabi HAPPY~! ♥♥ anyway, you can see my graphic LJ’s new layout at

enough of the happy. last July 29, one of my best friend’s father died from hepatocellular carcinoma, and im going to attend the funeral this afternoon. i guess i shouldnt really be writting about it here. sorry.

okay, last night, i was looking through Jin’s dA, behindinfinity, again for some of their Toycon pics, and i really think they are amazing. they make me want to cosplay, too! >.< grrr. if i had money, i would. anyway, i really loved their Naruto cosplay, especially Miguel (merkymerx)’s Sasuke cosu. *dies* im a Miguel fangirl. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA *coughdies* idk why, but i think he is really, REALLY adorable as Sasuke, even though i dont really like Mr. Emofag. XD (no offense to Saucekay lovers) ugh. fangirling. hahaha. these guys are from UPD (University of the Philippines Diliman) i think. so many people from UP, i feel so DUMB. T^T

so anyway, i was looking through their submissions, and Jin’s journals, and found some interesting videos. i found this video of ADOWBUNG MANAHK in this entry in Jin’s journal. i was sooooo amused. its cool and funny at the same time. XD “ANG SUHRAWP SUHRAWP!” ( Ang sarap sarap: “its really good/delicious!”) there are also these videos in his entry about the recent AME Gakuensai last November, i think. Jin, Kat and China came as Ichigo (Bankai), Orihime (Karakura uniform) and Rukia (Karakura uniform), while Miguel came as Saucekay (Shippuden). i was reading the entry, and he posted these videos that misty028 took of the catwalk. Cosplayer #49: Jin as Kurosaki Ichigo (Bankai) and Cosplayer #50: Miguel as Uchiha Sasuke (Shippuden). Jin hit his leg on one of the stage lights and he looked like a little boy running away XD ohh, and this is Jin’s comment to Miguel’s catwalk video: “OH GOD YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT YOU JUST HAVE TO. EPIC. WIN. TIMES. INFINITY.” and i totally agree. XDDDDD BACKSTREET BOYS ARE BACK. HAHAHAHA. LOL. you! yes, you! reading this entry! watch all the videos i posted here! XD it only takes less than 5 minutes to watch all three videos. come on, you love me. :D

reading too much of Jin’s con reports and looking at their pictures made me want to cosplay. i wanted to cosplay since two years ago, but financial problems are stopping me from doing so. BOO. it was my plan even from before to cosplay as someone from Naruto (NOT KURENAI, DAMMIT. DO YOU ALL WANT TO DIE??). i thought of going as Tsunade before, but yeah, hindi kaya ng powers ko mag Tsunade! (its a Pinoy expression which literally translates to “my powers cant handle <this>, meaning “I can’t pull it off”) i had no money that time, and let me tell you, wigs are expensive and i had very little allowance before. ohh, btw, im a spendthrift, so i lose money THAT FAST. T^T but now, i think i can go as Tsunade, or Shippuden Sasuke, is Steffi will grant my request for her to cosplay as Itachi again (she’s traumatized and describes the Akatsuki coat as a “mini sauna”). XD But going as Tsunade will be easier than going as Sasuke! i guess thats true. id have to buy a wig, get clothes made and make props, but thats okay. i was inspired by Miguel XD ohh, this would be really embarassing if the Tuxedo Team read this. XD ohh well!

anyway, Mau told me she and some friends would be cosplaying, so i asked her when. she said she wasnt sure yet so i asked her to ask her friends and tell me when she finds out. i really want to cosplay because seeing cosplayers makes me jealous that they can do stuff like that. i told my mom while we were on our way home that i wanted to cosplay and she said “arent you a little too old for that?”. i told her “mom, most of the people who cosplay are COLLEGE KIDS. this isnt Halloween, you know!” XDDDDD if Steffi decides to cosplay, then im going to have to get some cash. im thinking of selling my manga. i only have “the wallFLOWER” volumes 1 to 4. they are in extra good condition so i think i could sell them at the same price i bought them, which is at 500+ pesos each. thatd give me 2,000, but i dont think thatd be enough. ohh! I DONT WANT TO SELL MY CDS! T-T hmm…

okay, so enough about cosplay (ohh, Miguel~~~ *dies* hahahaha. lol. how embarassing!). yesterday, while i was at the gym, i saw this movie in Star Movies called “Pride“, starring Terrence Howard (Lt.Col. James Rhodes in Iron Man) and Bernie Mac (aww, come on! everyone knows Bernie Mac! from Oceans Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, and from Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle!). anyway, the movie was in a 1970’s setting, specifically 1974. it was about Jim Ellis, a former competitive swimmer, starting and training a swimming team called PDR (Pride, Determination and Resilence. PDR also means Philadelphia Department of Recreation; its the one that operates the Marcus Foster Recreation Center where his team was formed and where they practice.) its a great movie! it made me cry a bit. T-T its really nice. up to now, Jim Ellis still trains swimmers. its really cool. its like the swimming version of “Coach Carter” (Samuel L. Jackson) and “Remember the Titans” (Denzel Washington).

a week ago, i watched another movie at the gym (while biking and treadmill-ing) called “Take the Lead”. it was about Pierre Dulaine who started a ballroom dance program at a school and first taught the detention kids how to dance. Antonio Banderas (The Mask of Zorro, Evita, Shrek 2 and 3, Spy Kids, Desperado, etc.) took on the role of Pierre Dulaine. Dante Basco (Hook, The Perfect Weapon, Avatar: The Last Airbender [as Prince Zuko!!!!!] and The American Dragon: Jake Long [as Jake Long, duhh] was there, too. KABAYAN! <— because he is Filipino-American. lol. anyway, i loved it so much! i really want to dance ballroom like that. im jealous. hahahaha! but ahh~ it was really awesome. <3

and this afternoon, mom and i watched “Wanted”, starring Morgan Freeman (Bruce Almighty, The Bucket List, The Sum of All Fears, Million Dollar Baby), Angelina Jolie (Tomb Raider, Kung Fu Panda, The Bone Collector, Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and James McAvoy (The Chronicles of Narnia: LWW [as Mr. Tumnus], Wimbledon, The Last King of Scotland). ack. who knew a guy who played a fawn could be so hot? XD daaaang. okay, so ive only watched James McAvoy in Narnia and this movie, dont kill me! D: lol. the movie was awesome, with lots of blood and killing! duh. theyre assassins! have you ever seen an assassin who DOESNT kill?! no? hah. didnt think so. >.> hmm… i guess i shouldnt really say anything about the movie. i dont want to spoil and get death threats from anyone. :x basta, James McAvoy as an assassin is hottttttt. hahaha. epic win! <3

we had our medical exam and interview with the guidance councellor yesterday. i was scheduled for the 10:30AM interview but i came in early, because i rode with my aunt, who works near my school. so, i came in like, 7:30AM but woah, there were so many people seated already! well, for the medical line, at least. the guard told me to line up for the interview first, so i did. i went to the interview line, and guess who was seated infront of me? Justine! so, the whole time we were in line i was NOT BORED. we were the only ones in that line who kept talking, and we were at the front of the line! XD then i asked him if Adamu was there, and he kept saying “Adam’s there! Adam’s there!” pointing behind me and making me look all the time when he wasnt even there! meanie! ohh, but we did see Kate, though. not like it really matters. i dont think she’d pay attention to us, anyway. sure i dont like her, but hey, when you talk to me, i dont ignore you. im a nice person, but people think i am a mean, grumpy girl before they even get to know me! T^T

finally, the interviews were about to start and we were called to the CGC (Center for Guidance Councelling, i think). when i got inside, there were ten tables, so that means ten students will be interviewed by ten people. Justine was sent to the medical line because he hasnt taken his psychological exam yet since he was in America on the day of the test. you cant be interviewed without the test, so he was rescheduled. so when it was my turn, i told the lady EEEEEEEVERYTHING! it felt really good to open up to the councellor, but it made me cry because we were talking about my family. T^T but its normal for me to cry about it. i dont know why though. its my reflex, i guess, but i tried to turn my crying into a joke and just laugh when tears are about to come out. in the end, it was all goody! ohh, then i found out that the interview people are also students who are on OJT (On the Job Training). she told me she was from Adamson University (so its Adamu day, for me!) and that after they finish their training in the schools, they are going to mental facilities in August for the next part of their training. she told me she wasnt scared to go there, because she wanted to be in the clinical field and be a doctor to people with mental problems. MY HERO! but i still want to be a guidance councellor, though.

after the interview, i went to the medical line and thankfully, there were less people, but i still waited for a long time. it was fun, though, because the girl in pink next to me started talking to me so we werent bored. her name was Patricia, but i forgot to get her last name. :( she’s really nice, but we are not taking the same course. its really annoying. last time, i met a girl named Mary during the lab test, but she was taking nursing, now Patricia is taking IT (InfoTech.) ohh, well. i hope i see them around during breaks. we were called for our turn, so Patricia and i went to the clinic together, since they said it was by fives, and we were fourth and fifth. so the lady took our weight (i lost 3 lbs.!!!) then our height. i cant believe it! last time i checked, it said 5′5″! yesterday, it said 5′4″! what?! i shrunk?! is that even possible?! T^T anyway, we had a quick dental check up to see if we have any bad teeth. the dentist said there were no problems for me so i went to get my blood pressure taken. the nurse taking the BP was scary but in a funny way. XD Patricia and i made a few mistakes with our forms (it said City Address on the form and we thought you were supposed to put the city where you lived in XD) and she told us what to write in a scary way. she sounded grumpy but maybe it was just her voice. but we laughed anyways XD. after that, we put the right info on out forms and had our eyes checked and the doctor did that thingie with their stethoscope then we left to get our IDs at the Registrar’s Office.

lining up to get our ID was a pain! there were two windows: one for people with A-L last names, and one with M-Z. Patricia was on the M-Z line and i was at A-L, since my last name is Cabrera. it was a pain, because when she was in line, there were only two people there, including her, while in A-L there are like, TWENTY PEOPLE! WTF. so, she went home before me, and stupid me forgot to exchange mobile numbers with her. T^T ohh, i forgot to say that while we were in the medical line, i told her about John Claude, that cute guy who sat next to me during the psych test. we were arranged by course, so that means he is taking ComSci like me and Anjie (i met her during the psych test too. her mom talked to me XD). i told Patricia that i thought he was weird because he didnt talk nor look at anyone else during the whole time. o___O but then, while i was in line to get my ID, i saw him again! this time i heard him talk XD his friend was the guy in front of me. *dies* forgive me for fangirling, but he looked hot in a pink, long sleeved polo and black pants. sfkjvnhgjksdbghjsd. but, ken looks better HAHAHA too bad he aint in my uni. LOL. AINT IS NOT A WORD! XD anyway, i was going to tell her, but it would be really embarassing if his friend heard me, so, forget it. XD ohh, i wasnt able to get my ID because it was already time for their lunch break and they told us to come back at 1PM. no way am i waiting for a while hour, so Justine and i decided to leave. we were going to, but he left his X-ray somewhere, so we went looking for it. we were on out way to the clinic when we saw Kevin! yay! we are five from our batch now! four from 4-B (me, Justine, Kate and Adamu) and Kevin from 4-A. okay, so we went to the clinic for a few times, til Justine asked the nurse to send him a message when they find his X-ray. while they exchanged numbers, i went near the beds because there was a fan there, and found his X-ray on the bed. XD

we left the school and rode a jeep to the MRT station (or, the train, if you dont know). we went down the Ortigas Station and went to SM for lunch, but before we ate, we went to Comic Alley to look for some DVDs. i cant believe they still dont have Dance Drill and Anego! not even Kisarazu Cat’s Eye Nihon/World Series. annoying. but they have Yuukan Club already, so whats up with that?! we left without buying anything. i was too annoyed to buy Mononoke. then we passed by the pet store! THE CUTE KITTIES!!!!! THE CUTE MOUSIES!!! THE CUTE HAMSTIES AND BUNNIES AND PUPPIES!!!!! i was squealing and whining at the same time. i wanted all those animals! >.< i was going to buy a mouse because they are really cheap, but mom would scream. she is scared of mice. XD

after lunch, we looked around for some video games for a while and then stopped by Krispy Kreme (eww) before heading home. we were going different directions, so we parted near the mall entrance. i went out through the grocery and walked to Shangri-La to cross the street, because the jeep and FX terminal was there. while i was on my way there, i ran into M. Yu, one of my French teachers (well we had two teachers last year: him and Mme Monfort). we chatted for a short while before parting because it was so darned hot out! i mean, it WAS 2PM already! well, it has been almost a year since we last saw M. Yu since he was assigned from our branch (GH) to the other branches (Las Pinas, Sta. Ana and Angeles), and i must say, he hasnt really changed. still the same M. Yu our class loved. :)

im so excited! in two weeks, well a week and six days, lol, classes are finally going to start! im going to become a uni kid like everyone else! yay! i wont be jealous anymore! hahaha. anyway, im really psyched about the opening of classes, but im afraid that math is going to become a drag! i mean, me + math = EPIC FAIL. goodness! and to think i have two hours of math every MWF! ohh, someone save me! i wish i was like that guy in NUMB3RS. ugh. such a math genius! well! ill just have to work hard!!! FAITO-OH!!!!

ive been hooked on this video game recently. its called “Monster Kingdom: Jewel Summoner”. its absolutely addictive! six days of playing it and my Summoner Rank is already 14! well, i dont play all the time anyway. just for a few hours a day. ohh, but the game isnt mine though. i borrowed the UMD (PSP Game thingie) from Pao last year but forgot i had it so i never returned it. whoops. sorry! but i guess its okay. for a strange reason, he has two copies of that game. XD i dont know why he has two copies of some of his PSP games. how weird. XD anyway, its very entertaining. i managed to evolve my Mystic Hawk (which is a thunder type) into a Tropical Bird (water) then to a Phoenix (fire)! lol. the monsters look cool, except for the Trent (light) and the other kinds of Trents. they are UGLY. they look like crabs with ugly faces and grass (for the Young Trent), snow (Snow Trent) and a stump (Trent) on their backs! ewww! but there are also cutesie monsters, like the Baby Kirin (thunder) and Fay Hare (wind). actually, all the Hares are cute! >u< ohh! but this has got to be one of the cutest! its called Angel Kitten and its a light type. hahaha.

cuteness!! and it makes that “nyaa~” sound when you look at its profile or when it attacks. its so cute it makes me go “KYAAAAAAAAA KITTY!!!!!” whenever i encounter it. ^0^

ohh and i have a new layout! i got tired of the green, so i changed it to blue. and now, Laruku is in it and not just ken! yayaya! coding was a butt. i was supposed to use the 3 Column template, but i got annoyed, so i switched to Flexible Squares. there arent any free text boxes on the side bar like my last layout (which was a Smooth Sailing type) but thats okay. im happy with this one and i likey it!

okay! ill go back to playing now while i install CS3. im finally upgrading my Photoshop from 7 to CS3! HAHAHA. im going to play Jewel Summoner again. i want to try and beat the game before classes start! im in the Underground Maze looking for the Chancellor of Mirac Nera (the capital). the Chancellor guy is a creepy butt head, but ill beat him if he picks a fight with me!!!

finally, a petition to get Laruku to come to the Philippines and perform live!

In light of the ever-growing number of fans of Japanese rock band L’arc~en~Ciel, this petition is to verify that the undersigned wish to see L’arc~en~Ciel live in Manila, Philippines. The signatures below represent fans who are willing to watch them play live in said country should an event take place, and are willing to wait even if it takes until 2011. The petition is not limited to residents of the Philippines, but to any and all fans who wish to watch them play here in Manila. Fans in the Philippines have waited a long time for a concert by this talented and famous rock band who remain in the hearts of many Japanese rock enthusiasts around the country. We hope that L’arc~en~Ciel and the Management of Sony Music Philippines and Sony Music Japan will take notice of this, and we all hope that one day we may be able to see them live in concert here in Manila. I just joined Sanrio Town and it is SO CUTE. I’m still exploring it right now. I just wanted to try out the blog, and boy, if I’m not mistaken, it’s powered by Wordpress. It looks exactly the same! Amazing! Okay, so I guess this means a new blog for me. HAHA. I’ll fix things around here in a little while. Right now, I have a lot of things to take care of, so I’ll be looking around a little later.
