ROFL!!! I like the manly man doll in the pic, I can almost imagine him saying “What? My wife likes them, okay?” Hahaha. I know of a certain anti-hello kitty blog that should get a kick out of this (evil laugh). Credit where credit is very much due, the image is from koalajoe (apparently a very dedicated doll collector/maker).

Those cute miniatures are from the Hello Kitty Gashapon set heehee. For those who are unfamiliar with gashapon, it comes from the words “gacha” (Japanese sound effect for those machines you crank) and “pon” (sound effect for when the toy comes out. They’re also called capsule toys, coz basically they’re toys in little capsules that you get out of machines. Sort of like those candy machines, but these are definitely more expensive than what you get out of those. Aww I wish I could find a Hello Kitty or Sanrio gashapon machine here…

I found this on the Sanriotown main blog, and you probably have already seen this, but I just wanna share it anyways~

Hahaha fun! Hello Kitty as the Hong Kong MTR personnel. Let’s see… there’s the train operator, assistant fire & security supervisor, infrastructure maintenance officer, rolling stock maintenance officer, station assistant, and the group station manager. I’m not sure about the order, if that’s the order in the picture, I’ve never been on the Hong Kong MTR so I wouldn’t know what their uniforms are like.

There’s also a video on Dream Studio about some program when they launched this promo. If I’m not mistaken, this is something to get people familiar with the MTR personnel, I think it’s brilliant, especially for younger people I think this is the first time I’ve seen Hello Kitty in a uniform like that, complete with cap! And they look pretty well-made too~

Yes folks, she’s become a mushroom. LOL. I love how she doesn’t seem to have any shoulders, her tiny arms just seem to sprout from her mushroomy head. Honestly when I saw this I didn’t really think it was Hello Kitty, I literally laughed out loud. Look look haha maybe it’ll make more sense―

Haha. She’s a really low seat. Actually bigger than I imagined when I saw the first pic. Would’ve been funny if she were a squishy little mushroom, like 3 inches or so. LOL. I wonder how much weight this thing can hold, looks more like a toy really. If I saw this in someone’s place I’d probably point and laugh. I’m sorry it just looks so silly and funny! @_@ I’d buy this though! And I still love Kitty hahaha~

My mom has been saying recently that she wanted to get into golf. Although I can’t really imagine her actually spending time to learn and practice, it could be a good idea so she has a sport at least. I wonder how she’d�like this? A Hello Kitty golf club! This is so awesome heheh.

Now that’s playing in style. According to the site where I got this, the shaft is 33 inches, about normal length for putters, if I’m not mistaken. I don’t know much about golf myself, but my brother does and I just overhear sometimes. Actually I don’t even watch golf games, unless he’s watching and I happen to be there.

I guess golf is one of those sports you just can’t fully appreciate until you play it yourself. But as far as I know, it’s become some sort of status symbol, and the people whom I know play it are REALLY hooked. I wonder what the deal really is, maybe it IS all that. But the clubs are so expensive, and this definitely won’t be an exception. So I’m not sure I could get into this sport even if I wanted to. T_T

No, not the candy type of mint. I’m talking about a 50 euro coin minted from gold and silver. I would like to get your reaction on this guys, and get your friends’ reactions too maybe. Heheh.

Yes, that is what it looks like, and you read right. Kitty has gone on to the world of grown-ups, she has her own mon-ay~ It’s a collector’s item minted by Monnaire de Paris of France, but it IS real currency. So if anyone will be crazy enough to go to a store and buy something with this, it’ll be honored. BUT it’s worth far more than 50 Euros. It’s worth ¥168,000 or around €1,026 (US$1,376). YIKES. Basically if you pay with it, it’s only gonna pay for €50, but if you sell it, you’ll get its real price as a collector’s item. I guess. Harhar.

Sorry for all the numbers heheh. Well, for most of us this is definitely not something we’d get, still pretty interesting though. According to the news, there’ll be a series of these coins, showing Kitty having the time of her life in different places.

I actually have mixed emotions about this. But I’ll read what you guys have to say first.

Not only is Kitty cute, she’s smart too! If any of you are into cooking, you’ll really appreciate this. It’s a non-stick frying pan with Hello Kitty’s face on it~ I don’t know about you, I really hate having to scrape stuff off pans.

If I had this, I imagine I’d wanna cook just about anything on it. I’d be coming up with all sorts of excuses to cook stuff, just to show people this frying pan. And then I’ll pretend and try to convince people that the food tastes better because of the pan. Moohaha~

From hot to cold. This is one of those things that make absolutely no sense to the non-Kitty fan, but to us this is a winner! Hello Kitty ice! Of course, it isn’t the ice itself that’s for sale haha. It’s a mold for 10 Ice Kitties …oh but I think I see My Melody there. Imagine having your favorite cold drink with several Sanrio characters swimming around in it. Oh, but if you’re like me, you’ll be a little sad when they start melting haha. I’m not sure how big the ice figures are, but I like how they initially look like glass figurines. I’d seriously get this if I could buy it locally.  Now this is definitely Hello Kitty at her “coolest” Hahaha~ Sorry, I just HAD to say that

As amusing as the idea of dogs dressed in clothes with a Kitty design is, I’m sure dog-lovers can really appreciate this. This is from Little Lily, a company that makes dog apparel. This Punk Kitty set is just one of the Hello Kitty sets they have. I like that they gave Hello Kitty an eye patch, and I love that little necktie! Hahaha! If you’re like me, I’m sure this won’t seem like too much for your puppies, I can just imagine a cute little Spitz wearing that necktie on the black puppy shirt. Aaaah!

The company also launched a collection of dog bowls signed by celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Tori Spelling (also Britney and  Jamie Spears) in a very star-studded fund-raiser event for the “Much Love Animal Rescue”, an organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of domestic animals. All the proceeds from the event and the auctioned doggy-bowls went to that organization. Makes pampering your pets feel even better.

Nope, this isn’t a post about more Hello Kitty gadgets, although that wouldn’t be so bad So what is this really? If any of you have heard about “Momoberry by Sanrio” (Designer stuff for Sanrio, I can feature it next time if you want), this is part of the promotions for it. Custom Crystal Embellishment, basically you can bring anything that they can stick crystals on, and they’ll make it all Kittified and sparkly all in the same day~ Of course, however sadly, it isn’t free. Those are by the way, real Swarovski crystals.

So how does one avail of this very extravagant promo? Well, the Momoberry by Sanrio store is at the 8th floor of the Beverly Center Mall in Los Angeles, CA. So it’s good news for those who live nearby, although I’m not so sure how many would actually get this. Hmm I wonder how my iPod will look with this, and I wonder if they accept orders for other colors. Not that I have the money (or means, I live outside the US) for this, just wondering.
