I’ve been tagged by Kittymama! As promised, today I post my answers! But first a little something to satisfy your craving for Hello Kitty~

7 Random and Weird Things About Me:

1. I have a pet dog named Bruce, whom I rarely ever call Bruce, and thusly have confused him forever as to what his name really is. I usually call him “Boosey” (playing around with his real name) or “Baby” hahaha

2. I grew up in an odd neighborhood. Where everybody knew each other, but that wasn’t necessarily a good thing. I studied at a school beside a large butchering place, so we’d walk out that tiny road with pig blood running under the street. You can see the “stream of blood” it through the cracks, with only poorly-aligned blocks of concrete covering them. And during class you could hear pigs squealing really loud. I wish I were kidding.

3. I love food. Yes, it deserves its own number because it’s that important. Moohaha.

4. I can speak a little Japanese, because my brother speaks it (Like he can converse with Japanese people, while I can’t T_T), but usually I just ask him for help if I need it.

5. I look Chinese but I’m not really, it was my great grandma (I think) who was Chinese. Too far up haha

6. I also love music. If I leave the house without my iPod, I’ll seriously panic and wish I were home instead. T_T

7. I haven’t given my name for the longest time because I was planning to make this blog really about Kitty, and not about me Buuuut (EDIT) I’ve decided to finally reveal my name~ You may call me Ruth! Nice to meet you all. And thanks for wanting to know more about me, Ms. KTS ^^

Just a quick post! Look what I found on Brickshelf, a very odd Hello Kitty! Such defined eyelashes~ I think the flowers are adorable though.

Uwaaa~ My last post got featured on Sanriotown’s Hello Kitty News ^^ Yay! Apparently it’s really a big deal to a lot of people that she would be shown with a mouth and without a nose XD

Well, speaking of mouths and talking (Hahaha I’m sorry, I just needed to connect them), here’s something for that. A Hello Kitty walkie talkie!

The range for this is about 30m when indoors, but I’m not so sure about what the site says for the outdoor range. Apparently you can talk with more than 2 people too. It runs on 6 LR44 batteries (I honestly wonder why they didn’t just go for AAs or something.. ) and costs about US$17 ^^

If I had a walkie talkie, I’d probably use it to pull pranks or something. Hide one in the couch and then talk through the other. Moohahaha~ XD

Actually I’ve never really considered it much of a problem that people would read my text messages over my shoulder (Maybe I have a boring text life so no one really cares about it? Haha~) but if you ever do, then Hello Kitty’s got an answer for that too ^^

It looks like an ordinary sticker, but it’s actually a Hello Kitty Display Protector, designed to block the display if viewed from any other angle than from directly infront. In other words, the one holding the phone will be the only one who can read the message. Pretty neat!

Not to mention, it protects your screen from scratches and Kittifies your cellphone display~ ^^

Try to get over the shock of Hello Kitty with a (visible) mouth and without a nose. Inhale, exhale. Okay. This is a set of 3 items per design — a rubber band for the hair, a Kitty-shaped mini towel and a wire mascot that you can move around. And now it’s time to see the rest of the designs~ XD

I actually think they’re cute! Silly-looking, but cute! I’m not sure what they were thinking (the pic on the left is so funny XD) but I like that you can move her around. The wire “mascot” actually has magnets on her hands and feet~ Perfect! ^^

Aha. Forget about those other cars you’ve seen with Hello Kitty, this has got to be the ultimate Hello Kitty car~

I found this on a site called Sparklette, on this one post on Puroland. I’ve actually never been to Puroland (sob sob) but oh man, if I ever go to Japan I’m definitely paying a visit!

This is in Kitty’s House, one of the attractions there. Wah I wish it were an actual car, I mean that you could actually drive it (even if not on actual roads :P)~ oh oh and maybe her eyes could be the headlights. ^^

Despite Hello Kitty having a blue ribbon and a star earring this is an authentic Sanrio item from the Japanese Sanrio shop~

So obviously they were going for this punk rock feel, what with he skulls and safety pins (which I think are cute btw haha). This case is specifically for the 30GB iPod Video.. which is sad for me since I have that old 60GB one T_T

It also comes with a belt clip, but while some people might find it practical, I’m too paranoid to put my iPod anywhere outside my bag while I’m walking. It costs 2,940 Yen or around US$27.

Come to think of it, I don’t feel so bad that my 60GB won’t fit, since I can’t buy it from the Sanrio Japan shop anyways~ @_@

Okay so I’ve decided to step further out of my little bubble of anonymity. I just have to show this to you guys. I love it and am a little disappointed about it at the same time.. It’s a Hello Kitty Furry Hat~ ^^

Actually this was given to me by a friend who just came back from Taiwan, hurray! I mean it’s so cute~ BUT as you can see something’s slightly off!

The ribbon’s at the back! Well, I’m definitely gonna repair it and put the ribbon infront. Yeah I know I pretty much can’t wear this outside (I’m sorry I can’t pull off that “what do they care” thing :P) so you understand my need to post this so I can show all of you haha~

Follow-up New Year’s post!

I found this on Strawberry News for December, well I saw this way back but I just remembered it recently Can you see it? Hello Kitty fireworks!

Sorry I couldn’t give you a better pic, I just used my camera (don’t have a scanner here haha~) but actually the pic quality is pixelized to begin with. It gives me that whole X-Files feel moohaha~
