There’s a lot of pride in a Pangya player when you get to achieve a hole in one shot… Through all my years (yes, I’ve been playing Pangya for 2 years), I’ve only been able to achieve a total of 9 HIOs. 3 of them were made this weekend… Not bad, considering my Pangya Records show that I’ve been playing for one 7+ days and a Junior A player.

It is a bit frustrating though, that a lot of players are now cheating to achieve near impossible records. This is achieved by using a scientific calculator and a ruler on the screen. I’m not saying all the PRO players are cheaters, but there are those who openly admit doing so and taunt the other “goody-two-shoes” and “dumb” players… Have a look at the convo I had the other day while playing a tournament:

*Kooh achieves 1st place with 3 holes left to play
Calc-User: Give me the Trophy!
Kooh: Excuse me?
Calc-User: Give me the trophy or I’ll get my revenge on you!
Kooh: Uhm… But I earned this trophy…
Calc-User: FINE! Be that way… I’ll have to use my calculator for this then…
*Calc-User scores an albatross, an eagle, and a hole-in-one in the 3 final holes
Calc-User: Wahahaha! I win! You stupid goody player! What an idiot you are!!!
Kooh: … I don’t use calculators to play, and you’re calling me an idiot?
Calc-User: I got my revenge on you!!!
Kooh: Doesn’t matter… I know you’re a calc-user, so I don’t care much…
Calc-User: *insert swear words here* You just don’t know how to count, you stupid idiot!!! *insert more swear words here*

Those kind of players really need to be banned from playing forever… I mean… Whatever happened to respecting other players? Whatever happened to good, clean fun and fair play?

I wish the Game Masters would do something about them… They ruin the game for everyone else…
