September 15th, 2009 by knittedfox:hellokitty.comSitting here at work totally bored. I really wish I would have brought HKO with me. Maybe when I take my lunch I’ll run home and get it. :D
On the other hand, I am doing this knitting and crocheting swap on a knitting/crocheting forum I’m on and I haven’t started any projects for it yet. Packages are supposed to be sent out on Oct. 8th (which gives me three weeks-ish) but I am having problems figuring out what to make for my partner. It seems she has all the craft books I do, so I am afraid what I make her wont be special or a surprise. There are quite a few non-craft items I am going to send her, but since this is a knitting/crocheting swap I really need to *make* something. She lives in Finland so I was thinking maybe a scarf or hat to keep warm. She likes dogs, so maybe a dog pouch/purse thing… I just don’t know. xD
And then another gal wanted to join our swap, so we have an odd number of people so I opted to be her partner- so that’s 2 people to make things for maybe. She hasn’t emailed me for sure yet so I guess I don’t need to stress out about it.
OH! I know! I just had a great idea! A week or so ago, I was practicing crocheting (because I’m not very good at it) and I made the neatest thing - a neckwarmer.
Peekaboo!
OH! And she likes cupcakes so maybe I’ll do brown on the bottom few rows, white on most of the other rows, then red on top. That would be so cute! I’m SOOOO going to do that. :D I even happen to have those color yarns with me today (I bring craft stuff doing slow periods of work).
Thanks for letting me work that out - I’m off to crochet that! Have a great Tuesday!!
Mood: Full of yummy oatmeal and coffee
Listening: Grizzly Bear - “Yellow House” and “Veckatimest” albums. So good!

September 14th, 2009 by knittedfox:hellokitty.comLast night I got on the game for a bit of questing and left to go get PJ’s on. When I got back, my Hubby (Aaron) was at my computer with a concerned look on his face - “It looked dangerous with all those brown box animals so I took you back to Florapolis”. Hahaha! It was so sweet!
Hit lvl7 last night- yay! After doing some questing I got a new Wand. I’m pretty psyched about it. xD
I might not be on the game tonight, Aaron and I were going to play some Final Fantasy XI (FFXI) with a friend. My Black Mage needs a little love. <3
Mood: Getting hungry. I think I’ll have oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins for dinner tonight. MMM!
Listening: Ayumi Hamasaki -NEXT LEVEL
Watching: Nothing (sadly) since I’m at work.

September 12th, 2009 by knittedfox:hellokitty.comHey everyone! KnittedFox here, and here is my first post and I can’t wait to get started!
My friends gave me a copy of the game last night that they back rom PAX (Thanks guys!!!) And I’m so excited!
What impressed me the most about HKO so far, was that you played the tutorial while the game was installing. How clever! It was pretty easy and quick to go through.
Running around the world and doing fetch quests as fun. I also play Final Fantasy XI, so going and getting items for quests isn’t anything new for me. Nor do I find it boring. A surprising number of people had commented in-game that they were bored or tired of doing fetch quests - well if that’s the case, what are you playing an MMO for? xD Silly people. It’s all part of the game!
I played in Windowed Mode and since the background music (BGM) wasn’t working in-game, I listened to my own music (”Owl City” and “Swimming With Dolphins”). It made for a relaxing and very fun time.
That’s all for now. I’m actually at work- lol!
Mood: Impatient to get home and play some more.
Listening: No music at the moment.
Watching: Battlestar Galactica Classic on Hulu.
Doing: Crocheting little birdies.
