SanrioTown Email Maintenance

Hi everyone,

We’re aware that some of our users are encountering problems fetching their incoming emails. We have figured out a fix but we need to wait 24 hours for it to fully take effect.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience.

    I haven’t been able to log-on in one try since this started, BUT, I tried to log-on again anyway and have been successful (that is, it takes me two attempts, and then I am logged in and can access my inbox). It has been this way since the first maintenance in February.
    On the first day of maintenance, I had duplicate emails, but not anymore.

    Still having other problems, though, The time and date of my emails in the inbox that are older than today are weird (looks like: 2018 MO2 6); also, the font is really small for some reason.

    Please could update your ‘latest news’ section so we know what you are doing. Your latest update was nearly 5 days ago and it is STILL not working for many of us. It’ll soon be 2 weeks since we’ve been able to read our emails. Why is it working for some and not others?

    It takes two attempts and I can get into my email however that’s not ok for an email service even the mods in the forum is quite. I hope they don’t abandon this wonderful website. On a funny note it seems time traveler’s are above me since its the 11th of February for me.

    It appears that the wonderful maintenance technicians cannot restore the email system to how it was before they were given access. All the longtime disappointed users can now do is to thank the technicians foe what we previously had and enjoyed and hope that the technicians have for the rest of their lives nightmares about the disaster they caused with their so called maintenance on 1 February 2018

    I am still not able to access my email account and the now the only way to contact them to make a complaint is through twitter. I don’t have a twitter account and do not want one. This needs to be fixed immediately and Sanriotown needs to have a contact link that doesn’t require joining another forum. Ridiculous.     I have emailed customer support and no reply. I still cannot access my email page. I log in and then i get taken straight to the “session expired” page, even if at the top of the page it still says i am logged in!!! How long will this take to be fixed?
    You can’t really get all your customers to wait this long, and no even reply to their queries,
    It is simply unacceptable and ridiculous for us to wait this long without any news or solution.
    You maybe got some major hacking/bug on your site, we get it, but at least update the customers with what is going to be done next!
    It is awful to wait this long! Please fix asap, all of us have important emails to get to!

    Fix the email. I’m waiting for a very important email. It is essential I get it asap. Today is Tuesday 27/02. Not good enough. Leaving site. Not first time issues of unreliability haven’t been addressed. Just fix it.

    Also getting the “session expired notice” when trying to go to inbox.
    Browser worked fine last year (haven’t used it since, ’til last month).
    Had no issues with mobile either ’til Feb. I cannot check my mail at all.
    Doesn’t matter how many times I log in, which browser, or trying the url.
    Can we at least get our emails re-directed to our alt-address?

    yes had the problem too of not being able to receive some important emails because of 33k emails showing my quota usage as overly full i was waiting for a code which is not going in so i tried deleting my emails its now 18k with some space but i wanna delete more to free more of my storage. wish there is a delete past 100 emails to 500 emails button to facilitate free space.

    Bug in login page of e-mail.

    Hi Support,

    Recently, I have to login thrice to enter my mail box of mymelody.com. I was wondering that I entered a incorrect information but it wasn’t.

    I found there is a bug in pull down menu of language. I must choose “IntlEn” to login my mail box. Otherwise, it prompts login failed message.

    The question is, I can’t find such language in menu until the third time to login. Could you please fix it?

    I received a notice that my email has been deactivated due to inactivity w/in the last 30 days (though I check my mail daily) and I am unable to reactivate it because the CAPTCHA service has not been upgraded. If the team is doing anything to fix this, please let us know even if it is far from being completely fixed. We are feeling ignored w/o any kind of confirmation.

    I’ve been using this since 2008. I would hate to let go of this email service because I really do enjoy it.

    Please, I haven’t been able to check my emails since yesterday. As soon as I try to log in, Sanriotown.com takes me to a screen that says “Your account has been opened in more than 30 days and has been deactivated”, then it takes me to another screen where supposedly I can reactive my account but once I click on the agreement check boxes, it reads there’s an error on my registration process. Are they working on maintenance now on the website???

    To everyone having trouble accessing their email-

    I messaged Sanriotown on Facebook Tuesday morning (PST) and received this reply this morning (Wednesday PST):

    “Hello! Thank you for reporting this to us. We already relayed this problem to our developers and currently working for a proper solution. Thank you so much for your support and utmost patience.”

    They are aware of the situation (although they haven’t posted any updates anywhere) so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!
