Hello Egg Hunters! We would like to remind everyone that the mechanics for the Easter Egg Hunt is strictly applied throughout the contest.   Please do not email guessed answers to the main puzzle as early as now, as all subpuzzles have not been released yet.  Please remember that you can only email your answer to the main puzzle after the last subpuzzle has been released.  The 11th and last subpuzzle will be released on April 7th 9:00 p.m. EST, so we will only accept entries after that time.

To avoid guessing of the answer to the main puzzle, we will give out specific instructions on how to email your answer to the main puzzle.  These instructions will be given after the last subpuzzle has been posted.  All entries that would be emailed to us before the final subpuzzle has been posted are considered invalid.

Also, we will now require your answers to all subpuzzles when you e-mail us your answer to the main puzzle. This will avoid players from e-mailing the final answer even if the last subpuzzle has not yet been released.

Sanrio Digital and Aeria Games & Entertainment Inc., a US based online games publisher, announced the launch of HKO in North America. The announcement was made at the 2009 Game Developer Conference®, held at San Francisco’s Moscone Center from March 23-27. There’s a new game on Sanriotown, and we hope it won’t drive you crazy!

Sanriotown’s “Crazy Wheel”, featuring Shinkansen, is a deceptively simple game: all you have to do is follow Shinkansen and the arrows by pressing the corresponding button. Things aren’t as easy as it seems though, because for every button that you press, the wheel rotates a little, until you’re not sure which button corresponds to what arrow!

It’s fun and challenging at the same time. Just be careful, or you’ll grow dizzy!

Sanrio Digital recently received an unexpected surprise from the children who received the bags and shirts you selflessly worked for during our Helping Hearts charity event. Of course, none of this would have been possible without you, our dear players, so now we’d like to share with you a few scanned images of the thank you cards we received from the Po Leung Kuk residential child care unit.

It’s truly heartwarming to see how much effort they put into their thank you cards. Giving may be a reward in itself, but we hope that seeing these notes remind us all further of what this charity event is really about. We join the children at Po Leung Kuk in thanking all our players once more for participating in this event.

We will soon post more of these cards plus interviews with some of our donors on the official Hello Kitty Online website, so watch out for that. We hope to see you in our next event!

Would you like to help Hello Kitty and friends find the missing eggs? All you have to do is join the hunt to find the culprit! All you have to do is to use your Sanriotown account to send a blank e-mail to marketing@hellokitty.com, and write on the subject line: Easter Egg Hunt Contestant.  We will then send back a confirmation e-mail within one working day, stating that we got your email and you are now officially a participant of the Easter Egg Hunt contest.  The contest will officially start on March 24 and will end on April 14.  Participants may join at anytime during the contest duration but we will start accepting participants as early as now!

As a direct result of your efforts in the Helping Hearts charity event, Sanrio Digital donated 183 shirts, 84 bags to the Po Leung Kuk residential child care unit.

The Po Leung Kuk institution was established in Hong Kong on November 8, 1878 to rescue women and children who were victims of human trafficking and abduction. The organization provided shelter and education for these victims. Since then, the Kuk gradually evolved into a diversified organization in line with the ever-changing social and economic needs of the present.

We are honored to have contributed to such a noble cause and we are especially grateful for the efforts of all Hello Kitty Online members in this endeavor! Check back on the HKO Event Blog in the next week and we will post a little something from the children to you!
