Since today is my last day of HKO, since I can’t go on on weekends as I’ve mentioned before, I’d like to share the highlights and my thoughts on how the reunion was in my perspective. My guild really made it worthwhile, and a fun little event made things even more fun.
 New feature thoughts:
Maps: I really loved how the maps looked! The snow was great in New York, and the decorations everywhere was really cute!
It was really a Winter Wonderland, especially in New York! Which brings me to…

New York: It was splendid! There were so many buildings though, that it was easy to get lost. In fact, I know of quite of few people, including myself, who did get lost. I loved that there were very many buildings, but sometimes remembering everything was quite difficult. I was able to though, and the Big Apple with a Sanrio Twist was fantastic! ^_^

Pets: Ugh! One of the worst changes, in my opinion, of the game. There were some benefits of this, but the disadvantages still overpowered the small little benefit. He talked sooo much, that he really couldn’t be quiet! He moved inconsistently, and his talking really got annoying in my view. The only benefit, was that I was amused about what he said. His dialogue sometimes went into this really buggy mode where it continuously flashed different text everytime like it was breaking…Anyone else share these opinions about pets?

Quests: Nice! I really think that if I was at a higher level to begin with, then I might have been able to enjoy it more. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to finish the Save Christmas quest. I feel that maybe the quests could have been a little easier for beginners, including myself, although I understand that they need to please the veterans. I was able to finish a couple quests with the help of my guild, and I really appreciate what they did and my prizes and gifts! :]

Other comments: After doing some things, I had an idea. What if members had their own shops, like in Flyff? I had that in HKOLand, but how about member shops implanted into the game? I know there are quite a few disadvantages, but I still feel that might help a little…

Item Mall: Cute! Everywhere I went, I saw an Item Mall item. Seriously, the items are really cool. I love them, but there were so few to choose from. They only had some for avatars, and there were only a little bit. But I loved the items, and I hope to see more items in the future!

It was really fun, but really a rushed experience. I felt like I had very little time to enjoy HKO for the holiday season. Couldn’t they have kept it a little longer? Even so, I am still grateful that we had a chance to do this experience. I was going to do screenshots, but they had system maintenance and I couldn’t log in for awhile, then it got all buggy on me. So no screenshots.

I never got to finish all of the quests, and I felt horrible that I didn’t get to finish the Saving Christmas quest since I was training in order to be able to complete the quest, and before I knew it, it was too late. However, I did keep some seeds for the snow, who knows, it might be rare in the future. I was able to get the Snowman Constume, Santa Beard, extra candy canes and mistletoe (thanks to my guild), checkered and red scarf, bowtie, Snowflake Hat, and…I might’ve forgotten others. I was able to actually level up, and I am very pleased with what they did with the Skill Page. They made it better by adding numbers. I love looking at the exact number, and not having to do a rough estimate on how much I need to get in order to level up. I had walked so much, and I realized, that you can actually fill up your quest log. I accepted all of the quests at once, that it said my quest log was full. -’_'-Â The quests were hard for me, who is a noobish level 15 now after excessive training. So I tried to find the easiest quests to complete first to the hardest. I tried equipping the items, only to find out that I would have to unequip some items that I loved so much. I got a couple items at the item mall too, like the Hello Kitty Pink Hat and the Red Halter Top. I want to save my money!

My guild was fantastic in it all. We got to do Secret Santa, and thank you Sugar_Chan for being my Secret Santa and getting what I wanted! :DÂ I was Alesana Kitty’s Secret Santa, yet she still gave me a gift. :3

All in all, I really enjoyed this past few days. It was great, and I seriously did not want to move at all. I was going to add something else, but I had to finish this up overnight that I forgot. Anyways, thank you HKO for this fun experience! ![]()
