Stormy Days Are Here Again

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

Argh! Storm signal #3!!! Ribbit!

I like rain, but I don’t like storms this strong (heavy rains, strong winds, floods, falling trees, no electricity, etc.). Rain is no longer fun if it’s this dangerous. >.<

Now that the storm left our area, we have to clean up Donut Pond from all the fallen leaves, branches and other stuff that scattered around. Good thing it didn’t flood in our area and the rain didn’t go through the windows.

The news have mentioned that a lot of places flooded. That’s too bad. :( I hope everything will be fine for all the people that was affected by the storm. Ribbit!

Anyway, time to sleep early. Tomorrow is a big day for clean up. I hope by then, the skies are already clear.

Keroppi and Keroleen’s Kitchen: Broken Glass Dessert

Friday, June 20th, 2008

This is another favorite dessert recipe of Keroppi. Besides donuts, he loves flavored gelatin. Sometimes he can’t decide what flavor to eat, so here’s something that has a lot of flavors in it. Very tedious to do, but cooking for me is a labor of love. Heehee.

  • broken glass gelatin 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lime gelatin
  • 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry gelatin
  • 1 (3 ounce) package orange gelatin
  • 4 1/2 cups boiling water, divided
  • 1 (.25 ounce) envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed

Combine the crumbs, sugar and butter; press onto the bottom of a 13-in x 9-in. x 2-in. greased pan. Chill.

Combine lime gelatin and 1-1/2 cups boiling water; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Pour into an oiled 8-in. x 4-in. x 2-in. loaf pan; chill until very firm. Repeat for strawberry and orange gelatins.

Soften the unflavored gelatin in cold water. Boil pineapple juice; stir into unflavored gelatin. Set aside until slightly thickened.

Place whipped topping in a large bowl; gently fold in pineapple juice mixture.

When flavored gelatins are firm, cut into 1-in. cubes; gently fold into whipped topping mixture. Spoon over crust.

Chill for at least 2 hours.

Lomo Frog Eye Underwater Camera

Friday, June 13th, 2008

Hey Kyorosuke! Why don’t you take up a new hobby instead, like underwater photography? Ribbit! I found this really nice camera that will suit frogs.

lomo frogeye

Lomographic In-the-Water-Camera: with or without flash, always ready for action anytime and anywhere there’s water: in the ocean, a lake, a river, a stream, a puddle, the bathtub, the shower, or swimming pool, in the village fountain, in the cleaning trough, under the waterfall, in the gutter, down to a depth of 4 meters (12 feet).

Boasting a sexy body, a color-busting lens, and a just-at-the-right-time electronic flash, the Frogeye can splash through the pool, ride in the car, snorkel in the sea, keep watch during dinner, and fight past the velvet rope. The rain, the sea, the tub, hurricanes, typhoons, avalanches, and all other forms of accidental and intentional water that formerly conspired to stop the constant Lomography dead in its tracks, but with the Frogeye in hand or strapped to a limb, your (click!)ing knows no bounds of wet or dry.

It is your amphibious companion, a squinty little guy to contribute to the incredible photo diary of your hyperactive life.

The Beautiful People of Sanriotown

Sunday, June 8th, 2008

kyorosuke There are so many beautiful people and characters here in Sanriotown. I really love it here! *wink* Here are some of the friendly ladies and characters. I hope we get to know each other more.

Fairlady-Z: She has a make-up / fashion blog. She’s cool and knows a lot of stuff. She doesn’t respond to my swimming invitations though. She must be taken already. I’ll back away then. I may have big muscles, *flex flex* but I don’t like fights.

Tingal: A very nice woman. I invited her to swim the other day but she declined because she just dyed her hair. Women are so mysterious. They have a lot of rituals and stuff, which actually makes them so adorable. *wink*

Nanao-chan: She has a cosplay blog. Most of the cosplayers she features are girls! I LOVE IT! Nanao, do you cosplay~? *wink*

My Mero: A very sweet character. *wink* She’s so ditzy. I actually like it. I’ll be her knight in shining armor!

Kuromi: I heard that she has a really cute human form! I wanna see it! *wink* Keroppi has seen her, but he doesn’t want to give me any details!!! Keroppi, WHY?!?!

Mimmy: She’s friendlier than her twin sister, Hello Kitty, but they’re both cute! Mimmy or Kitty? Mimmy or Kitty? I like them BOTH! *wink*

I’ll talk about more beautiful people in Sanriotown later because it’s time again for my underwater training. *wink*

Invitation to Swim

Sunday, June 1st, 2008

kyorosuke Hi ladies! It is I, the handsome Kyorosuke. *wink* Anyone would like to swim with me? I’m really good at it. I can even teach you if you don’t know how. Don’t be afraid. Once you know how, you will really enjoy it. Besides, summer is here and it’s the perfect season to swim, hang-out at the beach, and show-off those muscles and beautiful bodies! *flex flex*
