Keroppi’s Hello Kitty Online Video Entry

Sunday, February 24th, 2008

I really want to play Hello Kitty Online, but even if I’m still a Sanrio character, I still have to go trough their screening in order to get a slot in the Close Beta. Ribbit! Goes to show that there’s no favoritism. Well, except maybe for Hello Kitty.

Hmm… why can’t the game be called Sanrio Online, I think all the Sanrio characters deserve credit in this game. Do you think the audience impact will change if it were called Sanrio Online?  I wonder how Mimmy is feeling right now knowing that the most anticipated online game is named after her sister…

Hello Kitty…Hello Kitty…Hello Kitty…the name alone sends chills down my spine. She’s such a cult classic indeed. For most people, just hearing her name definitely makes them wild. Her fan-base is sooo huge and so is her merchandising! @_@ If she were to run for President, she’ll definitely win at the very moment she’d announce her candidacy.

I guess they named the game after her because of the really huge impact she has on people. Non-gamers will also play, both young and old. Come to think of it, if there’s no Hello Kitty, there would be no Sanrio.

Wow! I think this game will really be a huge success. With so many users all over the world and from different age groups, this is definitely a MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER online game. I hope the server can handle such a huge population. XD

Anyway, here’s the video requirement for my Close Beta application. I hope I can get in. I used to have game titles for older consoles, but this is the first time for me to be in an online game. I may not have the lead in story and just probably be a simple NPC, but that’s fine as long as I’m in it. Ribbit!

Goodluck to all of us! I hope we can all see each other in-game!

Cool frogs!!! O_O Ribbit!

Just look at how they are piled elegantly and look at that nice, glossy, slimy skin. I wonder who’s their frog dermatologist. Speaking of sliminess. I think I should prepare for the summer season. The heat will really dry frogs up and make us weak. I’d better stock up on frog lotions, water and a lot of mlk. Ribbit!

Identity Crisis

Wednesday, February 20th, 2008

“I want to be a frog.” Is that what this cat is trying to convey? O_o

But…but…that’s a cat already. @_@ A lot of people love cats! Why choose to be a frog?  Does this cat love frogs, as friends and not as prey? I know only a few who love frogs. Only a few understand and appreciate our nature. We’re slimy and green, but that’s how Mother Earth made us. Ribbit!

Deep inside though…I hope you really want to be a frog.

Look at Hello Kitty, there are times that she wants to be a frog. I mean, she’s popular as a cat already. Is she trying to infiltrate our little froggy world? Or it’s her way of saying…“frogs are cute when they’re me…”?

Perfect for Froggy Hands

Tuesday, February 19th, 2008

Remember the incident when Ganta spilled soda on my desktop keyboard? Well, the keyboard is still working pretty fine, but I got curious and searched around for a nice model and was drawn to this:

Innovative, isn’t it? This cool gadget is called the FrogPad and is the smallest keyboard you can buy. It is perhaps the most user friendly one handed typing pad on the market, but it has been said that it might take a little time to learn the typing technique. It uses Bluetooth wireless capabilities to connect with your PDA, computer, or Bluetooth compatible phone.

Ribbit! Hahaha! Will sure add more to the froginess of my PC or mobile phone. When the need really arises, I will definitely consider this one.  As of the moment, I’ll still use my old keyboard. It sure has gone through a lot, but performance is still superb! XD

Post-Valentine’s Day

Saturday, February 16th, 2008

Hello readers, Keroleen here. Valentine’s Day is not a happy event for all of us. We all have are ups and downs afterall. Just like Keroppi and I, we had a huge argument a few days before Valentine’s. I was really feeling down because he didn’t seem to care that Valentine’s Day was just around the corner and just focused on his games. In reality, he was preparing a surprise for me and was avoiding me so that he will not accidentally let out his special gift.

I’m glad that everything is working out fine for Keroppi and I, but I feel bad for Ganta. I hope he’ll be ok. It was really courageous of him to tell how he really feels.

Mimmy’s a great friend. It’s just that frogs are for frogs and cats are for cats when it comes in a relationship. It’s rare to find a mixed couple, but if he keeps on being himself and stop being a rock maybe something will blossom in the future…who knows…only time will tell.

I hope Ganta will stop hiding. It’s also scary now to walk around Donut Pond knowing that one of those rocks might be him. @_@

Rock n’ Roll: The Ganta Way

*hem hem*

*drinks milk*

Milk really does help. *cough sob* I feel so sad. Mimmy likes somebody else…*croak*

*drinks more milk*

I don’t know how I’m going to face her now. Nothing will ever be the same again. I suddenly want to disappear. *hem hem* I think my special talent will be very useful now…by turning myself into a rock…

From this…

…to this…

*hem sob* I’ll just hide for awhile.

It All Started with a Flashlight…

*ahem*

Good day! Ganta here.

I think it’s time…no use in counting the minutes go by…

*takes a deep breath*

*cough cough*

MIMMY!

Will you be my Valentine?

*croak*

For Keroleen…

I’M SORRY!!!!!!!!!

I know I’ve been a bad frog lately, but there’s a reason behind that. It’s true…most of my free time was devoted in playing video games…well…ribbit…because I didn’t want to spoil my special surprise for you.

I was really avoiding you for a reason. I was so excited with my surprise for Valentine’s Day that I might slip and spoil everything. I guess now my surprise for you has become an apology gift.

I’m really sorry my dear Keroleen! I didn’t mean to ignore you these past few days.  Ribbit!

Here’s what I was supposed to give you for Valentine’s Day. There’s more at the back of house, behind the big, old tree. I planted them myself and I wanted the two of us to take good care of them so that we can have a garden full of these heart-shaped flowers.

I love you very much! Please forgive me Keroleen!

Very truly yours,

Keroppi

A New Lunar Year and Some…

Wednesday, February 6th, 2008

Greetings! Ganta here! *hem hem* It’s the start of a brand new Lunar Year and everyone should be celebrating, but some of us here are feeling sad and lonely. *Ahem* I think all of us should be jumping about since this February is a great month with wonderful events.

First of all, it was Zashiki’s birthday last February 4. Sorry for the late greeting buddy. I’ve been pretty busy lately because I’m planning something this month. *Ahem* Anyway, Belated Happy Birthday! I’m also glad that Marie is with you on your special day.

Next is the celebration of the new Lunar Year. This time, it’s the year of the Rat. Keroppi posted something about not having a year of a frog. I also wondered about that. *Hem* But that’s no big deal, frogs are supposed to be lucky in whatever year we’re in. Do Fortune Frogs ring a bell?

A Fortune Frog is universally known to bring good luck. *Ahem* In Japan, a loved one keeps a frog charm for a safe return home.  In Egypt, a frog brings fertility.  Even Irish folklore uses frog symbology to attract good fortune.

A special kind of frog from the Orient is believed to bring money and wealth.   It is called a Feng Sui frog. It is the small statue of a frog with a coin in it’s mouth that we usually see in stores. *Cough Cough*

I hope everything will turn out fine this new Lunar Year, especially for Keroppi and Keroleen. The two of them had a conversation yesterday, and Keroleen ran out of the living room crying. I don’t know what they argued about, I just hope they’ll fix it soon, Valentine’s Day is approaching fast after all. *Hem hem*

As for Mimmy, I hope she’s having a great time in China. Must be great to experience the celebrations and fireworks from there. I wonder when she’s going back to SanrioTown…*hem hem*

Anyway, Happy New Lunar Year to all of you!!! *Ahem*

Valentine’s Season Woes

Monday, February 4th, 2008

I had a great time during my birthday party. Even if I was very tired from all that cooking, I still felt happy and energized. But that feeling of happiness didn’t last very long…

Valentine’s Day is near and Keroppi and I should be planning what we’re going to do for that special day. In the past few years, we ate at the best restaurants or made some wacky food at home or went out on a road trip or just simply jumped around some lilypads. This time though, we have not planned anything yet. I have brought up the subject to him but he’s been pre-occupied lately with his video games.

Yeah…his games…does he love his games now more than me? :( If you have noticed, he has not been posting at his blog lately because he’s playing with one of his game consoles, hand-helds or is in the game center nearby.

I feel lonely and sad now. All I want is some quality time with Keroppi. Am I demanding too much?
