We finally lost them! Thanks to my laptop, I was able to find some detailed street maps of Paris, with hidden alleys and shortcuts! Those men in black sure are scary. Ribbit! As we hid from them, we still got to see some sights. Mimmy even had her picture taken at the Eiffel tower. Taking the long route through the side streets, we suddenly ended up near the Louvre.

Since we are already here, might as well explore the place. Oh wait…we’re all getting hungry and thirsty and there’s a cafe nearby that serves some delicious looking food. There’s no sign of the evil men in black anywhere, we can finally eat and rest without any worries in there. Ribbit! Keroleen and I also feels a bit dehydrated from all that running, hiding and jumping. We could sure use a good cold drink.

It’s so disappointing to know that there are bad people who hunts down frogs for their legs. Apparently frogs are protected species in France. They usually import them now.

Very evil men in black! Ribbit! >.<

Oh well. Ribbit! Time for us to go explore the Louvre.

It’s true! We’re lost in Paris. Being the one who stayed in Paris for some time, we let Keroleen lead the way to our destination. Ribbit! She is really good in following cooking directions, but poor when it comes to signs, navigation and remembering places, she really has a bad sense of direction.  @_@

We tried asking two people who were wearing black shirts for directions but they just looked at us strangely then they suddenly shouted and chased after us! Apparently, frog legs are a delicacy in some parts of France, so we have to be very cautious.

We’re all very tired and hungry…Ribbit! We are currently resting in a secure spot where the black-shirted guys will not find us. Poor Mimmy, she’s not the one they’re after but she had to run and hide with us as well.

Time to use my laptop and find our exact location and what route we have to take to Zashiki’s place. I really appreciate Sailorkitty’s advice, but I think we should avoid the main roads for now. It’s getting very difficult to find Tabby since our legs are also at stake now! Ribbit!

We are now in Paris and I brought my new laptop with me. It could probably be useful along the way. Paris is such a great city. There are so many places to explore and new things to discover. I’m very excited to see everything…but wait, we have to look for our dear friend, Tabby first. No time for the sights, we have to do what really came here for. Ribbit!

Mimmy’s buying some snacks in the convenience store. Keroleen is making some phone calls, she lived in Paris for a short time and she knows some residents who can help us with the search. Where could Tabby have gone to? Poor little mouse, poor Zashiki and Marie.

Oh, Keroleen and Mimmy are here. We have no time to waste. Let’s look for Tabby!!! Ribbit!

I know this is so sudden…Keroleen, Mimmy and I will be going to Paris to help Zashiki look for Tabby. It’s been almost 3 weeks and we still don’t have any news as to what happened to him.

The morning flight tomorrow is already fully booked and the only tickets available that could accommodate all three of us is for tonight. @_@

So, we’d better get packing and leave for Jump-Hop Airport soon. Ganta will be bringing us there and he drives very slooooow… 

Wish us luck. Let’s just hope and pray that Tabby is safe.

The gang has invaded my PC! Most of them has taken a liking in blogging, but they don’t want to make their own accounts. It’s fine with me if they post their thoughts using my blog, but they’re also using my computer…

I don’t want to be selfish to my friends though. We’ve been together since we were kids, and they were all very supportive of me in times of trouble. So I declared my PC as Frog Gang property! It’s no longer a personal computer. Ribbit!

Fortunately last weekend, while Keroleen and I were in the mall, we saw this really nice laptop and it’s green! The color’s just right for me. It’s was also on sale since a lot prefer the pink Hello Kitty laptop. The green version is actually more powerful than the pink one, with souped-up specs and extra accessories!

Fancy design versus functionality, I’d go for functionality. Ribbit! 

“MINE! RIBBIT!,” I cried out in excitement as I pointed it to her. XD I bought the laptop immediately and now I’m happily typing this blog entry with it.

Amazing! That’s a lot of plush dolls. According to the owner, she has been collection for more than 16 years! Ribbit!

I’m very happy that there are still fans who have stayed with us all throughout these year. XD It looks as if she really hunted down the dolls since there aren’t a lot of plushies designed after me and my froggy pals.

I really like the big, smooth plush doll at the back. Ribbit!

Hi! Keroleen here and it’s time for a special Autumn recipe. ^_^

Autumn brings lots of changes. The trees begin to change colors, bringing a beautiful array of different colored foliage, which eventually drops off into our yards. It also brings cooler temperatures.

Fall vegetables bring to mind the hearth, coziness, beautiful autumn colors, hearty food and interesting one dish and multi-dish menus. When it comes to food preparation, we think about roasting, caramelizing, thick rich stocks, braising and sauteeing.

Pumpkin is a very versatile vegetable usually used in Fall / Autumn recipes. It can be used for soups, salads, sidings, main course and desserts. Here’s a simple soup recipe which you can use for your celebrations.

Ingredients:

1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter or oil
2 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. curry powder
3 cups chicken broth
1 can (or 1 lb. pureed) pumpkin
1 tbsp. honey
dash nutmeg
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1 cup evaporated milk
optional sour cream or yogurt, topping

Procedure:

Sautee mushrooms and onion in butter or oil. Add flour and curry and stir gradually while adding broth. Add all other ingredients except the milk and continue cooking while stirring for 10 - 15 minutes. Then add milk and heat without boiling. May be topped with sour cream or yogurt.

I like jigsaw puzzles. It’s one of those games that’s really challenging, especially if their are a lot of pieces and most of them have similar colors. I even encountered some designs wherein majority of the pieces are white! 

No matter how many times one has finished forming the pieces it’s still fun though.  It’s like playing a different game when you shuffle it all over again.

Here’s a really simple puzzle featuring yours truly. It’s not challenging at all though, but it’s still amusing.

I still don’t have any news on what happened to Tabby. According to Zashiki, he’s been missing since Halloween night. It’s been more than a week now and we’re all very worried. I hope nothing bad has happened to him.

Keroleen already contacted her friends from the Le Froge Baking Institute in France and they’ll all help in finding Tabby. Hopefully they will find him, they’re more familiar with the area.

This is absolutely amazing! A Keroppi font! It is compatible with the PC and Mac OS X. This is fun! I’ll tinker with this font after I post this entry. Ribbit!
