Argh! Does anyone actually know me these days? I used to be called Kerokerokeroppi, but my name was shortened to Keroppi since a lot of people had a hard time saying my name or they’re just lazy to say the whole thing. But I didn’t expect that my fame would go down with that. They not only shortened my name, they also shortened my media and product exposure.
Back in the 1990s people would go crazy when they see a green frog, a snail and a ghost together. All kinds of merchandise were made. Screaming fan-kids scurrying inside specialty shops was even a lovely sight back then.
Ribbit!!! Where did that all go? Nowadays, I always walk behind other characters during parades. I’m usually at the back in group photo shoots. My merchandise sold for half in thrift and surplus shops.
I can’t take it anymore! I’ll just go get drunk with milk and probably watch a snail race on cable.

Don’t be sad… I remember I had a pencil case with you on the cover… it’s transparent plastic with a space/layer underneath it with some “floating” lily foam which moves around.
…It’s been raining here lately and I’ve seen a lot of other froggies jumping around.

Admittedly, I only knew about Kerokeroppi lately. But since then, you’ve been my favorite Sanrio character!

Keroppi! *is lazy for saying it shortly* ^_^ i know how you feel! but i know alot of people talknig about how much they like keroppi… i was popular in the early 2000’s… but one of my good friends took a trip to florida, there was this mall called millinia… (i think thats how you spell it :P) and they sell keroppi stuff right and left at the Sanrio store…. its kind of strange they sell stuff that looks like us… dontcha think?

Hahahaha! That’s good to know. ^_^ *sigh* I remember the good old days when kids flaunt their stuff with our faces in it.
There are still a lot of fans who do it nowadays, but not that much compared to before. Maybe our character goods have become expensive or people prefer to have luxury brands instead…
