Keroppi: Argh…my head…Ribbit! Where am I? We fell down a whole…then what? HUHHH?! I can’t move!

*Keroppi opened his eyes and discovered that he’s trapped inside a glass cage. His hands and feet bounded by laser-like chains. Looking around, he sees his companions in the same condition. The room that they are in is now a high-tech laboratory.*

Keroppi: HEY! Anybody there? PLEASE HELP US!

?????: I seeee that you’re awake my slimmmyyy frieeend…

*A husky voice came out from nowhere. Keroppi looked around to see who’s talking. Seeing no one, his attention was then diverted to the monitor at the center wall of the lab. An image slowly materialized and revealed a cloaked figure.*

?????: It isssss time! After yearsssss of ressssearch I can finally reveal to theeeee world my powerrrrr!!!

Keroppi: WHAT DO YOU WANT WITH US? RELEASE US IMMEDIATELY?!

?????: How demaaanding…I’ll let you be the firsssst one to witnesssss the resssssults of my resssssearch…Hmmm…let meeee ssstart of with your threeee froggggy pals there.

*The cloaked image referred to Keroppi’s three friends, Kerokupo, Kerokuku and Kerokupe.*

Keroppi: DON’T HURT THEM! RIBBIT!

*The figure smirked and then yellow smoke was released inside the glass cages of the three unfortunate frogs. The figure then laughed menacingly and it can be heard echoing throughout the abandoned halls of the hospital.*

Keroppi: Hey guys! Finish up with all that candy! It’s time for our adventure!

Ganta: *cough cough* Wait…last batch of caramels…I love these…*chomp chew*

Kerokuku: Kribbit! Hahaha! Stop stuffing your face with candy bro. You might have a hard time exploring the abandoned hospital. There are a lot of tight spaces there.

Kyorosuke: Come on Ganta! You need to have a diet. I just scheduled a group date for us with those cute girls we met awhile ago. *wink*

Kerokupe: Let’s make our adventure quick ok…I’m scared…There were a lot of strange sounds coming from the abandoned hospital when we scouted the area.

Keroppi: Don’t worry my friend. Nothing’s going to happen to us there.

Kerokupo: Yes, little brother…Everything’s going to be just fine.

Keroppi: Alright frogs! Let’s start with our adventure!

*The boys then embarked on their journey to the abandoned hospital at the border of SanrioTown and Procyon City. After half hour of brisk walking and jumping they finally arrived at their destination.*

Keroppi: *looks up the menacing 5-storey building* It’s a lot scarier this night.

Kerokuku: Yeah man…it wasn’t like this a few nights ago…

Kerokupe: I want to go home. I have a bad feeling about this and my allergies are acting up…This is not a good sign.

Kerokupo: Let’s go you wimps! Nothing’s there! It’s just your imagination.

Ganta: *hem hem* Caramels~~

Kerokupo: Alrighty! I’ll enter first. *wears his hard hat and opens the high-powered flashlight*

Keroppi: *sigh* Ribbit! Yosh! Let’s go exploring! Ready your gears frogs!

Kyorosuke: After what I’ve been thru, this is just a piece of cake. *tilts his mask and pushes the heavy, broken glass door of the hospital*

*The group enters and explores the ground floor of the hospital. Seeing nothing wrong, they went further into the back and enters the former storage area.*

Kerokupe: Guys…*looks down on the floor* That hole wasn’t there before…

Kerokuku: You’re right. *peeks down below* You all be careful…

Kerokupo: WHAT?!! Geez! *looks down* This place must be really falling apaaaart…

*The edge of the hole suddenly gave way making it bigger and the frogs fell into the abyss.*

Halloween is near! I’m so excited! Ribbit!

Every year we have a special activity besides trick or treat, like ghost stories, parties and exploration. This year we are exploring the old, abandoned hospital at the end of SanrioTown. It’s not actually part of SanrioTown, it’s part of Procyon City which is adjacent to our town.

My friends, namely  Kerokupo, Kerokuku and Kerokupe visited the area two nights ago and they heard some strange noises coming from inside the building. It’s possible that some wild animals has taken shelter inside, but there could be something else…

The hospital has been abandoned for many years, way before SanrioTown was even built. Many rumors has circulated that a lot of strange things can be heard there that doesn’t resemble any animals. Others have seen strange lights coming from inside. There was even a story that a group went in to explore and never came back!

Just thinking and writing about this is giving me the creeps…but I’m really excited about the whole thing. I’m built for adventure! Ribbit! Got our costumes ready and some special gear to help us with our exploration like lights, ropes, hard hats, hammers, axes, etc. The hospital is really old and we’re expecting a lot of dangerous and unstable areas.

Anyway, that’s that. Time to double check on our gear. I might have missed something that we need.

I know that I’ve been in a slump lately, but making desserts really brightens up my day. I’m thinking of bringing this to Mimmy’s ice cream party. ^_^ Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.

I think these are quite easy to make. The freezing time is just the hard part so always prepare these in advance.  I might even bring some more ice cream cakes in different varieties. Heehee.

Ingredients:

• 1 (18 ounce) package small chocolate chip cookies (or make your own cookies for that homemade touch)
• 1/4 cup margarine, melted
• 1 cup hot fudge topping
• 2 quarts vanilla ice cream
• 1 cup whipped cream
• 12 strawberries

Procedure:

Crush half the cookies (about 20) to make crumbs. Combine crumbs with melted margarine and press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan or pie plate. Stand remaining cookies around edge of pan. Spread 3/4 cup fudge topping over crust. Freeze 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, soften 1 quart of ice cream in microwave or on countertop. After crust has chilled, spread softened ice cream over fudge layer. Freeze 30 minutes.

Scoop remaining quart of ice cream into balls and arrange over spread ice cream layer. Freeze until firm, 4 hours or overnight. To serve, garnish with remainder of fudge topping, whipped cream and sliced strawberries.

Mimmy’s back!!! I’m so glad that she’s back! Can’t wait to have some bonding time along with the other girls. Heehee. ^_^ We can go shopping again, visit the salon or the spa (Spottie Dottie suggested this one), have some coffee or tea in those cool cafes, etc. I really need to go out more often…all I see is the kitchen or the grocery these days…

Speaking of the kitchen…Mimmy just invited us over for an ice cream party. Hmm…what food should I bring?

There are a lot of new residents now in SanrioTown. I hope they’ll attend Mimmy’s party. I would really love to meet them all. I met a bunch already from Keroppi’s previous party. I hope they will all love my cooking. Heehee.

Hmm…I’d better start thinking and preparing for the party…something sweet…I was inspired by the cake Ashley brought with her to Keroppi’s party. It was really good!

Just when I thought I’ll be having a relaxing weekend, Keroppi just invited a bunch of friends over…Friends over means party, party means food, food means Keroleen will cook…

*sigh*

I know I’m over-worked, but I feel more like "over-cooked" since I’ve been cooking a lot lately. At times like these, I can’t think of a good menu to serve.

Don’t get me wrong, but I love cooking. I just need a little break sometimes…Sooo…anybody wants to help me out in the kitchen this weekend?

Keroleen and I just watched G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra yesterday. I’m not a big fan of a G.I. Joe, but I watched some of the animation. I need to watch again to refresh my memory of the story. I know they changed some parts of the story and character backgrounds in the movie.

What’s great about the movie are the hi-tech stuff. Great gadgets and vehicles! I WANT A RHINO! Ribbit! Like any animated / toy / comic related movie, the main objective is for the toy line to sell and the movie was successful in delivering that.

After watching, Keroleen and I went to the toy store to pick up some of the movie toys. Got the Ice Dagger vehicle, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow and Storm Shadow Paris Pursuit variant. The Paris Pursuit versions are so hard to find! Ribbit! We’ve been looking for the Snake Eyes Paris Pursuit (with the dog, Timber), but all the stores were wiped out! I also need another Storm Shadow Paris Pursuit since Keroleen wanted to keep one for herself…She likes the Korean actor that played Storm Shadow. LOL!

Storm Shadow is actually a favorite character of mine. A cool ninja that kept on changing sides. I would like to see him again in the next movie installment. For those who have seen the movie…he was supposed to be dead, but that is still unclear since he is a NINJA! XD Ribbit! Who knows what the producers want to do for future installements, but like a lot of Storm Shadow fans I’m also hoping that he’ll be back.

Being part of a triplet seems to be the trend in the frog world. Me and my siblings, Pikki and Koroppi are triplets, and my friends, Kerokupo, Kerokuku and Kerokupe are also triplets.

It’s actually fun to have lots of siblings, but sometimes it can also lead to arguments and headaches. For example, who will use the bathroom first or who will get the last slice of cake or what show to watch…Endless conflict! Ribbit!

Our parents always told us to share, but we always fight on who will use the car, computer, game console, etc. Have you ever wondered that when you want to use something, your siblings want to use the same item at the same time as well, but when you’re not using it, they don’t use it, too? Ribbit! Hehehe.

That’s why I’d rather have my own things. Our parents would say that it’s not practical, but I’d rather save myself from all the fighting and crying. Maybe when it comes to expensive things like cars and appliances, we should share. In times of conflicting usage, one of us should learn to sacrifice and give it the person who needs it the most. As for more personal stuff like computers and mobile phones, it has come to the point that each of us should have our own.

When is it to share? When is it not to share? It all depends on the things that you do and prioritize, but always keep in mind your own paying capacity. Hehehe. Ribbit!

Pikki: *peeks out the window* Uhhh…Hi…Can I help you?

*Standing outside Keroppi’s house are three new male frogs in town.*

Frog 1: Hi! We’re Keroppi’s friends. We’re on vacation here in SanrioTown and decided to drop by to greet him for his birthday.

Frog 2: Kribbit!

Frog 3: *waves shyly at Pikki and blushes*

Pikki: Wait a moment. I’ll just call my brother.

*Before Pikki could go up, Keroppi suddenly appeared from nowhere and opened the door to meet the three new guests.*

Keroppi: Kerokupo! I’m so glad you three were able to make it!

Frog 1: Yeah and just in time for your birthday!

Keroppi: Urk…Ribbit! I’ve been so down lately that I forgot today is my birthday…Hahahaha! Silly me!

Keroleen: You may have forgotten, but we didn’t. Anyway, lunch is served~~~

Keroppi: Oh! Before anything else. Let me introduce my classmate from kindergarten. His name is Kerokupo. *patting the shoulder of the taller frog* While the other two are his brothers, Kerokuku and Kerokupe. They’re here for the summer.

Kerokuku: Kribbit! Yo!

Kerokupe: Just Kep for short…*hides behind Kerokuku*

Kerokupo: Oh common little brother, don’t be shy! Stop hiding!

Keroleen: Let’s have lunch first. Everybody is waiting at the kitchen already. Heehee.

Keroppi: Gosh! *blushing* Today is my birthday and I forgot all about it…Ribbit!

Kyorosuke: HEY! What’s going on there? Where’s the birthday boy? I’m already starving! *shouts from the dining room*

*Keroppi, Keroleen, Pikki and the three newcomers stepped into the dining room and were very delighted to see their family and friends all ready for this special occasion.*

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEROPPI, KOROPPI AND PIKKI!!!”

Keroleen: *grabbed Keroppi’s hand and plants a kiss on his cheek* Not sad anymore? I hope to see that smile on your face everyday!

Ganta: *cough hem hem* More guests will be arriving in awhile.
