I definitely won’t be able to finish the Christmas event quest now…

I was so excited about the HKO reunion but I’ve had barely any time to play. There was about enough time just to get all the quest information. I was all set to go collect all the items, but it looks like I’ll have to wait for the next open session to play. Hopefully that won’t be too far off in the future.

Well, I’m packed and ready to get this honeymoon going. We definitely need it. There’s been a lot of stress lately and even a death in the family so a nice, exciting trip away from home is well deserved. I know my hubby really deserves it. He’s been working very hard these past few months.

Our flight leaves at noon tomorrow and we’ll be up bright and early. I would much rather spend my extra time in the airport than in a taxi frantic about the possibility of missing the flight. I can’t wait to experience JAL’s  premium economy class. I’ve never flown in anything but economy so even this little upgrade will be a big treat. I think they should bump us up to business class instead…we are on our honeymoon after all. lol

I completely forgot that the HKO Christmas Reunion started last night. I even update the client earlier in the day. I was so exhausted last night that it completely slipped my mind.

I already checked out the item mall and i can’t wait for some of those hair styles to become available. I am dying for the Strawberry hair!

So, here is a little helpful information about the HKO Christmas Reunion Event - Saving Christmas

Talk to Cinnamonroll in Sanrio Harbor to receive the event quest. Upon completing this quest you will receive The Spirit of Christmas.
- You will need to fix the following items - Bent Gear, Santa’s Ripped Pants, Broken Bell, and Santa’s Reins
- You will also need to locate the following items - Missing Gifts, Reindeer Food, Missing letter to Santa

Go to NY (use the map if you need help finding the entrance in Sanrio Harbor)

Bent Gear Quest -
Talk to Chococat in NY. He will tell you to go see Tuxedo Sam in Florapolis.
Talk to Tuxedo Sam and he will receive item Brand New Gear.

Santa’s Reins Quest -
Talk to Coro in NY. You will need to prepare the following items to repair the reins:
- Straps - 4
- Zipper - 5
- Copper ring - 10

Santa’s Ripped Pants Quest -
Talk to Tsunko in NY. You must gather ( or make) the following items to repair the pants:
- Red dye - 5
- Santa’s ripped pants - 1
- Zipper - 1
- Cotton - 10

Broken Bell Quest -
Talk to Pandaba in NY and he will tell you what you need to repair the broken bell:
- Broken bell - 1
- Yellow dye - 5
- Copper - 10
- Iron ore -20

It was a fun ride while it lasted but HKO FB has now come to an end. The final day for online play was Saturday, November 8th. Unfortunately wasn’t able to participate in the final events. I spent my day cleaning with my husband. It wasn’t nearly as fun as playing HKO but it needed to be done, lol.

When I came back online today I heard the news that Sailoria (the guild that I am a member of)  came in second place in the Food for Friends event. It’s great to know that all the member’s hard work payed off in the end. The event was held to raise REAL donations for UNICEF and  AYO.

To celebrate the end of HKO FB I decided to make HK waffles this morning. My husband and I got the HK waffle maker as a wedding shower gift back in July. It certainly does make delicious waffles…and they are super cute too.

…Mmmmmm

I’ll be patiently waiting for the announcements about Open Beta!

So, it’s been a while since I last logged in to HKO. I was getting ready for my Halloween wedding and I just couldn’t find the time to play.

When I came back I found out there there was a lot of new and exciting things going on in the game. I missed the Build NY guild event. I would have really loved helping out my guild with that one!

My math must have been off…I was pleased to discover this morning that I didn’t need nearly as much material as I had thought yesterday.  O_o

I was finally able to complete the quest but i didn’t really fill fulfilled since the reward you get for this seemingly endless quest is minimal ~

Reward for Burry Ball Quest 2 (10 Burry Balls for O-Chan)

I made like 14x that amount of money just collecting the other random items from Fossil Rock and Caves.  O-Chan must really be laughing at me for doing such a tedious task for such a puny reward.

Ok, let me get off the topic of Burry Ball since it only seves to aggitate me to no end.

I decided to bring out my puppy, Momo. ..She doesn’t look like any dog I’ve ever seen before XD

Momo came from a pet card that was a reward from Anthony in London. You have to complete a few quests for him.

I’m still trying to figure the feeding process for my little dog but hopefully he won’t run away.

I just realized how many materials I actually need to complete the “Burry Ball Quest” and I’m pulling my hair out. I’m glad i decided to put this quest off until I finished the NY Event Quest.

Normally I don’t mind when a quest is long and complicated but I’m actually wondering if I should even complete the quest. I need to gather so many materials and almost all of them are rare and the resources are also very limited.

To create 1 Burry Ball you will need the following items (Remember that you need to create 10 ball to complete the quest) ~

>  3 Soft Bark (dropped by Leopards)

>  5 Thorny Vines (Chopped from Hedgehog Vines)

>  2 Polished Crystals (created from a crafting guide lvl 5)

So, before you can create a ball you need to gather the materials to create Polished Crystals ~

>  4 Gray Crystals (Collected from Caves)

>  6 Shiny Stones (Created from a forging guide lvl 5)

…Oh, well you can’t create the Polished Crystals because you need to create the Shiny Stones first. This is where the most annoying part comes in to play. The following items are very rare and it will take quite a looooooong time to gather enough ~

>  3 Brown Shining Fragments (Collected from Caves)

>  3 White Shining Fragments (Collected from Fossil Rocks)

Yup, that’s it…sounds easy right? Good Luck on this most annoyingly long quest!

I just received the Empire Key for completed the Hunger Strike quest. The quest was part of the Build NY event that is going on in HKO FB.

I was lucky and had a few of the required items already in my possession but I was lacking the skills for veggies and biscuits cooking guides. I had to spend a lot of time leveling up and even more time in my farm tending to the crops. I had the most difficult time with the oats for the biscuits. They just didn’t want to be harvested, I guess.

I’ve become a little smarter when it comes to farming and I’m sure that will help me later on in the game.

On another note, I’ve joined the “Sailoria” guild and I’m looking forward to working with the other members in future quests and home building.

HKO FB is now having an event where the players can help build NYC. The quest is given out by a new character, Pochi . He can be found near the entrance to the pier at Sanrio Harbour.

If you collect all the items that Pochi needs you will receive a very special item… the Empire Key.

Here is a list of the items that are required for the Hunger Strike Event Quest ~

> 10 tangerine juice (cooking guide)

> 21 roast veggies (cooking guide - dropped by Chaotic Spooky Trees)

> 20 corn (Grow from seeds in your farm)

> 10 oat biscuits (cooking guide)

> 20 roots (chopped from plants in your farm)

> 10 sweet potato (Grow from seeds in your farm)

> 15 salvia biscuits (cooking guide)

A few of the items need to be created from cooking guides and the other items can be harvested in your farm.

Right now I am in the middle of harvesting and I don’t have the guide for roast veggies yet but hopefully, if I have the time, I will be able to complete this event quest. Good Luck!
