Going Home
January 3rd, 2009 by jlneve:hellokitty.com
Well, I’ll be leaving my grandpa’s house (in West Virginia) in a few hours to be heading back to North Carolina. I had a great trip. Although my brother got on my nerves some, I still love him to death, and I think we’ve had more fun this week than any other week. I’m surprised that we didn’t really argue at all! That’s something hard to believe when it comes to him and I fighting and arguing. It’s practically every day that we argue or do something stupid- something or other.
I hope Grandpa starts to be himself again. You see, my grandma died on April 9, 2008 (3 days after my birthday), and he thinks that it’s his fault she died. She had a stroke and Alzhimer’s (or however you spell that), and the nursing home gave her 60 mg. of morphene (spelling?)- that’s enough to kill a horse! They didn’t do an optopsey (again, spelling?) because she had so much wrong with her.
Hopefully he’ll be doing better by the time we’re gone. His sister-in-law lives right beside of him (they’re in a townhouse), so she’ll keep him company. (She’s my grandma’s sister.)
Well, I’d better go now. We need to start packing up. I’ll post more later on this weekend. I hope that you all have enjoyed my blog so far, those of you who visit often. Thank you for your support!
