The Playstation 3 version of King of Fighters XII has received a patch to fix lag issues and improve the quality of online play, however a glitch was discovered when Raiden does a specific attack against Elisabeth, causing a handcuff effect that makes Elisabeth unable to move and stuck on Raiden.

Hopefully the next Patch will solve this problem.

Bad news for Playstation 3 owners who have been waiting for Marvel vs. Capcom 2, it seems that we would have to wait a few weeks more, unlike the Xbox 360 version that is scheduled to be released end of July. The PS3 version is now scheduled on August 13 and hopefully this will be the final date.

One of the reasons why people buy console version games are stuffs that you won’t see in arcade versions. Here’s an example of those exclusive stuffs.

This stunning costume is designed by CLAMP who created Magic Knight Rayearth and xxxHolic. Just looking at this makes me excited in using Jin Kazama, the costume makes him appear stronger and this would look great in a high definition TV.

Aside from Jin, Zafina would also be having a new costume, here’s a picture posted at Kotaku.

Now that the King of Fighters XII is available for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, they have released another game trailer showing off the beauty and power of the game.

What’s bad is the trailer is showing Mai Shiranui, which unfortunately is not included in the game. I’m hoping that Mai can be a downloadable character in the future (that’s a hint SNK Playmore).

In the first promotional video, it was Ryu and Wolverine brawling, now the heavyweights want a piece of the action to show what they got and prove who is stronger in the upcoming remake of Marvel vs. Capcom 2. In the end of the trailer, it shows Jill and Storm ready to battle but was cut, so expect them to be on the next video. 

Our heroes in a half shell are back with a new game trailer of their latest fighting game for the Nintendo Wii. Join Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo as they fight evil and whoever gets the last pizza slice. TMNT: Smash Up will be available September 2009.

After a long wait, a new Samurai Showdown (AKA Samurai Shodown) game will be released for the Xbox 360. The weapon based fighting game will be in 3D and has 13 old and new characters confirmed in the line up. The game is expected to be available fall of 2009.

There will be a new update coming soon for the Playstation 3 console. Like the previous 2.76 update, the new 2.80 firmware will improve playback quality of some Playstation 3 format software.
