Here’s a video showing a PS3 that has an ISO loader. Meaning he’s not using a disc in loading his game.

The game was copied and converted into an ISO file. Saved in the Hard Drive and was loaded there.

Like the PSP, that already has an ISO loader, it’s not too far that the PS3 would have one as well
