Here’s a video of playing Wii tennis . Enjoy
Aside from the PS3 there’s another console that’s giving me some thoughts in buying it, the Wii .
At first I was thinking, what can the Wii offer me that the PS3 can’t. When I saw one game where you use it’s controller as if it was a tennis racquet, my question was answered immediately. Because of the controllers design (nunchuks) , you can imagine as if you were really holding a tennis racquet and feel that you are inside that game itself. There are also add-ons with the controller to make it look like a racquet also.
Because you move a lot in the game, it will give you a workout without knowing it.
You can also use it’s normal controller for other games like rpg, adventure, sports, etc…
My first problem with the ps3 was it was using USB controllers instead of the normal ones that can be used with the PS1 and PS2. Now I’ve learned that you can’t play most games with the PS3 if your T.V. isn’t HD (High Definition).
Saving enough money to buy a PS3 took me a long time, now learning that games won’t work with a normal TV….. it’s hopeless.
Why didn’t Sony just stayed with it’s original controller so that I can still use the PS2 controller with the PS3.
Now I need to look for this device.
My other problem is, I can’t find anything like this in every mall I visit. The usual thing they show me is a USB to PS2 hub. I’m not really sure if it would work, cause it’s a hub so that means 1 USB then 2 or more PS2 ports. That might not function with the PS3 properly.
I Guess what I can do for now is save some more money for another PS3 controller.
What game made you decide in purchasing the console you have right now. We know that not all games are released in every console available in the market. For me these are the games that made me decide in having that console.
Famicom/NES
Mario series
Who could forget that plumber. Unlike other famicom games, that only have 1 stage then adds more enemies if you win, the Mario series consists of worlds with different stages that would make you play for hours.
Super NES/ Super Famicom
Street Fighter 2
Now this game started the fighting game fever. When I was young, I usually pretend to be Ryu and smash our car using an imaginary fireball. Street Fighter 2 was so famous that it made a lot of revisions but still it was Street Fighter 2(champion edition, turbo, Super St. Fighter 2, and Super St Fighter 2)
PSX/ Playstation
Street Fighter Alpha
Still a Street Fighter game but a bit different. It’s gameplay changed by adding counters and different super moves. In Japanese it’s called Street Fighter Zero. The story in this Street Fighter game is based before Street Fighter 1 was released. Guile is not here but Charlie instead. Charlie was mentioned in the ending of Guile in Street Fighter 2, a little trivia.
Playstation 2
Tekken Tag Tournament
A game that until now I still play. A very addicting game. You can select characters available in all previous Tekken series (that’s a lot). Nice graphics and added sub game (Tekken Bowl).
Playstation 3 (Hoping…..)
Now these games are the reason why I want to purchase a PS3.
Tekken DR
Tekken DR is a revision of Tekken 5. Changed/added movelist, new characters (Dragunov, Lili and Armor King) new items for customization and combo properties changed.
Tekken 6
Still not released, but news say that items can now be used as weapons (Bryan’s shotgun). Can’t wait for it to be released!
Since the first playstation console was released, I was able to save some money and purchase one. But now, the PS3 seems to be a dream. My friends are planning to buy a wii or psp instead because of the price.
I am into fighting games (Tekken) which wouldn’t be released in wii but is already released with the psp. But my problem with the psp is having a hard time playing, because of the small d-pad and buttons. So it’s really hard to create combo moves unlike with the normal playstation controller.
I wish that there’s a way that you can connect a playstation controller to the psp, then the psp has a video out to connect to the T.V. (HDTV if ever), then there wouldn’t be any problem anymore. (Nice T.V. the newest in the market hahaha)
Tonight we dine in…………
Here’s my friend, Art John Queyquep, as one of the strongest man in the world.
Be careful, he might eat you…..haha
