<p>Here are my favorite pics from my summer holidays in London, with parents and brothers Art &amp; Herc.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/009.jpg" title="009.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/009.jpg" alt="009.jpg" /></a></p>
<p align="left">The UK Parliament  is a very popular sight. You can also see the most famous clock in the world, Big Ben. (the picture has been taken from the London Eye, a huge wheel hovering above the Thames river)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/010.jpg" title="010.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/010.jpg" alt="010.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This is the old Townhall of London. It is now converted to a tourist complex that includes couple of small museums and a faboulous Aquarium that I visited, full of tropical fishes, jellyfish even sharks! (photo taken from the London Eye)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/008.jpg" title="008.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/007.jpg" title="007.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/006.jpg" title="006.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/015.jpg" title="015.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/015.jpg" alt="015.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>A very weired coral at the London Aquarium that looks like a sunny side up egg. <font size="2"> <img src='http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </font></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/014.jpg" title="014.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/014.jpg" alt="014.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Three little jellyfish. (London Aquarium)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/013.jpg" title="013.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/013.jpg" alt="013.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Here are some tropical fish, extremely rare, not found at most countries of the world. (London Aquarium)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0121.jpg" title="0121.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0121.jpg" alt="0121.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This is a statue by the famous Spanish artist Dali. It is located just in front of the old Townhall.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/050.jpg" title="050.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/050.jpg" alt="050.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Above you can see a &#8220;graffiti spot&#8221;under a museum complex again by the river Thames. Teenagers come here to skate and bicycle. </p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/049.jpg" title="049.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/049.jpg" alt="049.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Not far away from the previous &#8220;graffiti spot&#8221; a famous British street artist named Banksy invited his friends and sprayed a whole street. (you can see me with the red jacket and my brother Herc)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/032.jpg" title="032.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/032.jpg" alt="032.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>A rabbit-person graffiti &#8230; (behind Herc &amp; my other brother Art)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0531.jpg" title="0531.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0531.jpg" alt="0531.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>&#8230;  a skeleton</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/043.jpg" title="043.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/044.jpg" title="044.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/044.jpg" alt="044.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>and a funny graffiti about what we are consuming. </p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/020.jpg" title="020.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/020.jpg" alt="020.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>I also visited the nearby Hayward Gallery, where a very strange installation really caught my eye. Bits of furniture and walls were suspended from the ceiling as if a terrible blast had just happened within a house.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/055.jpg" title="055.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/053.jpg" title="053.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/037.jpg" title="037.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/048.jpg" title="048.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/048.jpg" alt="048.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This stuffed bird is propably a groose. It can be found at the other end of London, in Kensington, at the Natural History Museum.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/022.jpg" title="022.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/022.jpg" alt="022.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>A giant prehistoric sceleton of a brachiosaurus. (Natural History Museum again)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/023.jpg" title="023.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/023.jpg" alt="023.jpg" /></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/020.jpg" title="020.jpg"></a></p>
<p>Not far from the Natural History museum one can find the huge Hyde Park. Here is a photo of Herc and Dad trying to feed a very cute squirrel.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/036.jpg" title="036.jpg"><img width="274" src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/036.jpg" alt="036.jpg" height="366" /></a></p>
<p>Having fun at the British Museum!</p>
<p> <a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/033.jpg" title="033.jpg"><img width="274" src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/033.jpg" alt="033.jpg" height="367" /></a></p>
<p>more fun at the British Museum!</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/024.jpg" title="024.jpg"></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/045.jpg" title="045.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/045.jpg" alt="045.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Looking serious at the British Museum!</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0511.jpg" title="0511.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0511.jpg" alt="0511.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This is an offering to the ancient Greek God/Healer Asklepious by someone who had his foot cured after he prayed to him.  In many Greek Orthodox churches  similar offerings are being made even today. (British Museum)</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/047.jpg" title="047.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/047.jpg" alt="047.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>These marble sculptures were cut off from the Parthenon in Athens by a British merchant and were moved to London. Their heads have been lost at sea or stolen.   </p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/025.jpg" title="025.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/025.jpg" alt="025.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This is a whole Roman temple moved here at the British museum.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/020.jpg" title="020.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/042.jpg" title="042.jpg"></a></p>

<p>A trip to London is complete only after visiting the famous Baker Street&#8230;.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/018.jpg" title="018.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/018.jpg" alt="018.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Me and my brothers as &#8220;Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson&#8221;.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/038.jpg" title="038.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/038.jpg" alt="038.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>Don&#8217;t worry, I examined the dead body and is just a wax figure.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/042.jpg" title="042.jpg"></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/037.jpg" title="037.jpg"></a></p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0521.jpg" title="0521.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/0521.jpg" alt="0521.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>A photo inside a canal boat. This one crosses the Regent canal (a smaller river that eventually leads to the River Thames). Others are more luxurious and others like this one not as much. Some people even live in them.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/041.jpg" title="041.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/041.jpg" alt="041.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>We tried Indian food (very spicy!)&#8230;</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/040.jpg" title="040.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/040.jpg" alt="040.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>&#8230;and drinks (Coke &amp; Sprite) at a Pub by the river.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/037.jpg" title="037.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/036.jpg" title="036.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/034.jpg" title="034.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/029.jpg" title="029.jpg"></a></p>

<p>This is a policeman riding his horse. This isn&#8217;t a rare thing to see in London, but it is always very exciting.  </p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/027.jpg" title="027.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/026.jpg" title="026.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/026.jpg" alt="026.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>This is a pic of people rollerskating at the fabulous Notting Hill Carnival. </p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/024.jpg" title="024.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/024.jpg" title="024.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/021.jpg" title="021.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/016.jpg" title="016.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/005.jpg" title="005.jpg"></a></p>

<p>The street artists like the one you see above are usually students who can earn some money by wearing a funny costume.</p>
<p><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/002.jpg" title="002.jpg"></a><a href="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/054.jpg" title="054.jpg"><img src="http://blog.sanriotown.com/jimarmakol:kuririnmail.com/files/2008/09/054.jpg" alt="054.jpg" /></a></p>
<p>And for the final snapshot I saved the one that shows me trying out my brand new chopsticks at some official Sanrio products from the super cool China town, London!!! :D  </p>
