So far, all the pages I’ve showed you have been from my Zach scrapbook, mostly because they are the prettiest. :) But I thought I’d mix it up a little and share one of my “Undie Run” pictures.

For those who don’t know, I am a junior at Arizona State University. Here at ASU, we have an end of the year tradition called the Undie Run. On the last day of classes, at around midnight, students gather, strip down to their underwear, and run around campus. This past year, the Undie Run became a charity event. All of the clothes we took off were donated to charity. It was pretty huge this year, there was something crazy like 1000 people or something.

The quote on the page below is actually what my friend, Colin, told so news reporters that were at the event. He was a little belligerent. He told the news people his name was “Ryan Bradford” who is apparently some black guy from his high school. He said some pretty ridiculous things, but the quote below was the only part of the interview that they actually showed on TV.

I couldn’t fall asleep at all last night. I tried to go to bed at 11 pm so that I could wake up early in preparation for my new job which starts today, but I didn’t end up falling asleep until 3 am. And of course, since I couldn’t sleep, I scrapped a new page! Here’s the second page of my Zach book.

I’ve been thinking about what this blog should be about for a while. I already have a livejournal that is supposed to be for random diary kind of things, but I never end up writing in it. So, for this blog, I wanted there to be a theme, something that I could actually write updates on. And now I have found it!

Earlier this week, I had my first digital scrapbooking experience. I’ve done traditional scrapbooking before, but it is too expensive and time consuming to really become a hobby. Digital scrapbooking, however, is much more affordable. I found a lot of sites that offer free kits, including papers, frames, and other embellishments. All you really need is an image editor. And since I am a devout Ubuntu user, lo and behold, the fantastic GIMP image editor was free, too! So, ever since this discovery, I’ve been making pages nonstop!

I think from now on, I will use this blog to showcase my favorite pages! Here’s one I just made a couple minutes ago:

Hope you enjoy my blog!

Love,
