PS3 Fails…..

October 19th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

My PS3 has started to show signs of failure last Saturday, while I was watching a DIVX video burned in a DVD disc, the video started to freeze and after a few seconds, the PS3 wasn’t able to read the disc inserted. At first I thought the PS3 just needed some rest or something, but it wasn’t enough to fix the unit. I’ve done everything to prevent this from happening (I think so) from adding external fans, researching before doing a system update and cleaning it regularly.

I’m still hoping that the PS3 will try to fix itself (sounds like I’m looking for a miracle) and I was looking forward to play Tekken 6 Bloodline Rebellion, it’s release date is on Oct 27……………………. what bad timing!!!

Wish List…..

October 14th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Now that Christmas is coming close, our wish lists will start again and I assume a lot of people would want these…..

If I didn’t own the old PS3, I would definitely buy the slim one but with the PSP Go, I’m thinking if it’s really worth buying.

I know the PSP Go is smaller than the regular PSP and doesn’t need a UMD disc but the price difference is hard to notice. The old PSP cost around $170 and if compared with the PS3 slim, add $50 will make it have the same price.

Although if who you have lots of money and a collector at the same time, this wouldn’t stop you from buying it……. right?

Typhoon Pepeng

October 2nd, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Just after Typhoon Ondoy last Saturday, a new typhoon emerges and is said to be as strong as typhoon Milenyo in 2006, which caused a lot of damages. News say that typhoon Pepeng is strong enough to destroy houses and with a maximum speed of 230 KPH.

Let’s pray that everything will be ok.

Typhoon Ondoy

September 30th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

4 days of no electricity, 3 days of instant food, 2 days absent at work and a lot of damaged properties and water inside our house. This is all because of typhoon Ondoy.

Although this has happened to us, I still feel lucky compared to the other victims. Here are some pictures I took while strolling around our area.

Relief area: this is just one side of the line, we donated clothes and canned goods to help.

Look how muddy the motorcycles are, probably submerged underwater during the flood.

A tank and a boat……..

Mud and trash everywhere.

Doing their job to restore electricity, notice that the wires are hanging near the ground.

I think only 40 % in the Cainta area have electricity, and are still fixing the water and phone line, hopefully everything will be back to normal next week.

Tekken 6 New Trailer

September 24th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

My favorite game will be coming soon on Oct 27 for the Playstation3, Xbox 360 and PSP and to make me more excited, they have released a new trailer of the game.

The trailer shows some gameplay of the somewhat Tekken Force mode.

N.O.A.H. Play

September 16th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

We watched the N.O.A.H. (No Ordinary Aquatic Habitat) play last Sunday at the Meralco Theater and this is my first time watching a play. Well, it’s not really my first time but the last play I watched was when I was (I think) 7 yrs old, so I can’t really remember anything. I wasn’t expecting to like it since I’m not into musicals, but what made me like it was the humor. Aside from the humor, it also reminded us about our faith to God, I would definitely recommend this show to everyone.

Get a ticket now because the show will be until September 27 only.

My friend shared me this site and I can’t stop browsing it. Here are some pictures that I find so cute and funny.

I’ll be posting some pictures again in the future.

Philippines = Filipinos?

I got the picture from this site and emailed Namco Bandai about it. The reply seems like an auto generated message so I’m not sure it they really read my email.

08/20/2009

August 19th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

We will follow the next day counting and will be having some activities in memory of my beloved mother. Wish that it wouldn’t rain so we won’t have problems going to the cemetery. We’re still not certain as to how many relatives will come over but we already have a list of food to prepare, hopefully everything will be enough for the guests.

40th Day

August 14th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Next week will be My Mama’s 40th day at heaven, hence we are planning to visit the cemetery, attend a mass for her commemoration and a simple dinner with friends and relatives. However we are unsure if it would be on Aug 19 or 20. Some of our relatives say that the counting should start on the day of death, though others say it should be the next day.

If ever someone knows, please post a message. Thanks in advance.
