Back to Normal

April 14th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

How was everyone’s holy week, was it great? Mine was fine but it felt a bit short, as always. :D What were your activities, here’s ours…..

- Visita Iglesia.
- Way of the cross prayer.
- Cleaning the house / room (this took so long).
- Watching DVD movies (started Saturday).
- Swimming (The kids loved this one).

Sounds’ boring huh, maybe yours was better, but what’s important is, having the chance to be with your family.

Holy Week

April 7th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

We won’t have work from Thursday to Sunday, which means more time for us to rest. Aside from resting, we mustn’t forget to pray to observe the holy week. Mama’s planning to go to Laguna to find a certain church, however I forgot the name. I’ll post some pictures if ever we get to go there.

How about you, what are your plans?

I will be attending another graduation this Thursday, plus my in-laws are also visiting, another chance for Kyle to get new toys.  :D

Graduation Gift

March 24th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Kyle’s graduation is on Thursday and he’s already asking for a gift. Well as always, I wasn’t able to say no to him when we were at the mall, but it was a good thing that there was a sale that day. Here’s what he got.

I’m planning to get another one (as a reward) if he does well with his welcome address speech on graduation day. I’m getting excited.

Sick Again :(

March 20th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

After having cough and fever last week, this time I have sore eyes. This makes me feel that I’m really prone to sickness. Went to the clinic yesterday for an eye check up. The doctor said that the sore eyes I have is the mildest one, which is good since my eye doesn’t hurt at all. I’m actually afraid of sore eyes, cause the last time I had one, I wasn’t able to open my eyes for 1 week. The doctor also gave a prescription that is so hard to read.

Can you read it? :D

Got Sick

March 17th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

I was absent at work for 2 days because I had fever. My temperature got up to 40.90 C and lost a few pounds. I was hoping that I would get better immediately because I already had plans over the weekend particularly the Crocs mega sale. Good thing my wife and sister went there and bought me a pair instead. They said that there were a lot of people and was so traffic but it was worth it. My wife was planning to get this model, but was already out of stock.

Hopefully there will be a part 2 of this sale for those who weren’t able to visit (including me).

Final Exams

March 10th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Its exams week again, so the kids need to study. Less computer games, more reading of books. Kyle’s exam is 1 week earlier because it’s going to be his graduation ( I’m getting excited). Don’t know the exact date yet, probably last week of March. He’s already asking for new toys, if ever he gets good grades.

Good luck!!! :)

Last Chemotherapy

March 6th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

Today will be my mama’s 6th and hopefully last chemotherapy session. After the chemotherapy, there will still be regular check-ups to know if the cancer cell will return or not.

Thank you for all the support, our prayers have been answered.

Healing Mass

March 5th, 2009 by jaredkyle:hellokitty.com

We went to SM Megamall yesterday to attend Father Joey Faller’s healing mass. We were planning to be there before 10am because we were expecting a lot of people attending, unfortunately we woke up late. We arrived around 11am and the chapel was already half full. The mass started around 12 noon, followed by the healing ceremony. During the healing ceremony, I noticed a lot of people were falling on the floor as soon as Father Faller touched them and I was very curious if that would also happen to me. When it was our turn, he requested us to close our eyes and pray, I didn’t feel anything when he touched my hand, but after opening my eyes, I saw my mama lying on the floor, being assisted to stand up. I immediately asked her what happened, she said that she felt something going inside her body that made her fall down. Maybe the reason why I didn’t feel anything was because I wasn’t praying for myself but for the recovery of my mama.

If you want to attend Father Faller’s healing mass, it is held every first Wednesday of the month at the Chapel of the Eucharistic Lord, in the 5th level of SM Megamall.
