Lucky!!!

Monday, December 22nd, 2008

Our Christmas Party was a blast, we had games, great food (I wasn’t even able to taste everything cause I was already full), and everyone had so much fun .

Since our party had a Hollywood theme costume, everyone was busy preparing because there were also prizes for it. Fortunately our team won the best group costume as well as the best women’s costume.

The best part of the party was the raffle of an iPod Shuffle. They were giving away 2 and I was one of the winners (Yahooooooo!!!).

I feel so lucky, because this is my first time winning something in a raffle. I hope my luck continues forever.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Christmas Party

Friday, December 19th, 2008

I’m so excited because it’s our Christmas Party later…woohooooooo!!!!! We were divided into 5 teams and each team should have their own Hollywood theme as costume. We’re going to have a raffle also but they’re not saying what the prize is, although they gave us a clue “it’s small and great for music lovers….” not too hard to guess huh. lol

I hope everyone’s happy this Christmas, Happy Holidays!!!

Third Chemotherapy

Friday, December 12th, 2008

My Mama’s chemotherapy was supposed to be last Wednesday, but the doctor wanted to do some tests first to make sure if the current medicines are working and decide if they will continue using it or give her another one. Good thing the results were okay, so she doesn’t have to change her medicines.

Please pray for her fast and successful recovery. Thank you very much.

Warehouse Sale

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

We went to this warehouse sale earlier in Tektite Ortigas, hoping to find gadgets that were really on sale, because the ads say “up to 70% discount” and 0% interest on credit cards for 1 year.

We were expecting a lot of people to be there and we were right, it was so crowded, but we were still determined to search inside. To make it easier for customers, there were big posters attached on the walls of most of the items available. After knowing what we wanted to purchase, we immediately went to the booth selling it, however the item that I wanted was already sold out. Some of my friends got to buy something but some didn’t because the items they wanted were below 10,000 peso and the credit card offer was only available for items above that amount.

If you want to check the warehouse sale it’s only until tomorrow, located on the ground floor of the PSE Center, Exchange Road, Ortigas Pasig.

Congratulations Pacman

Monday, December 8th, 2008

I just want to congratulate Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao for winning the match against Oscar Dela Hoya. I regularly checked the internet every 10 minutes just to know immediately who won the match, since TV broadcasting are super delayed. As soon as I knew the results, I quickly teased my father that I know who won, but I guess it was obvious since I was all smile when I was talking to him.  :D

To be honest I really doubted that Pacquiao could win against Dela Hoya, since Dela Hoya had the advantage in terms of reach, weight and height, but it was a good thing that I was wrong. A lot of Filipino who loved to gamble were saying this; “My heart is with Pacquiao but my money with Dela Hoya”.

Air Hogs: Zero Gravity Micro

Thursday, December 4th, 2008

As I expected, Kyle has changed his mind in what toy to get for Christmas. Now he wants an R.C., specifically the Air Hogs Zero Gravity Micro. I search the internet about the toy and I was impressed with it, aside from using it on the ground, you can also drive it to a wall or ceiling (why wasn’t this toy invented when I was young, hahaha).

Unfortunately the recommended kid’s age for this toy is 8 yrs. old, and Kyle is only 6 yrs. old. I guess I’ll buy his gift when its only 2 days before Christmas, just to be sure that he’ll receive the toy that he wants.
