The kids requested me to take their picture, showing off their collection of K-Zone magazines. They said that the magazine has a portion that features people with K-Zone magazines. We took a lot of pictures, but this is the one we really liked.

Count how many magazines they have.

I hope K-zone will pick their entry; it would make them really happy.

Now it’s my turn to post something about food. We went to Dencio’s last Sunday and I took pictures of everything we ordered. I’ve already planned this couple of times, but I always fail because I can’t stop myself from eating immediately.

First is the pancit, for long life.

Chopsuey for veggy lovers.

Pork Barbeque for the kids.

Tuna Belly for the old.

Fried chicken for everyone.

Lomi for mama.

The best order for me, the Crispy Pata. You can hear the fat cracking as you put vinegar on it.

Yesterday was Kyle’s birthday, so he had a little celebration at school with his teacher and classmates. After his class, we went to the mall to buy his birthday gift (shoe with wheel), the he kept on asking the whole day. He’s still practicing on how to use it, I think it will take 2 weeks before he can use it properly. We’re still going out tomorrow to celebrate his birthday with relatives.

I am happy because I enjoyed watching the movie “The Dark Knight”. The price of the movie ticket was worth it. The movie was 2 hours and a half of intense action, drama and comedy.

Another reason why I’m happy is because my mom is getting better. She’s going to the hospital again for more tests. I hope the results are ok.

On the other hand I am disappointed because until now we don’t have any news about our salary increase. It’s already past 7 months that we should have had our increase. It’s hard to live everyday knowing that almost everything has increased, from food, clothes, house rent, fuel / transpo…..except our salary.

I don’t even have any expensive habits and I find that watching a movie is already a luxury. I just hope that this month we would already have our salary increase. I hate losing more friends/officemates whom I know are forced to find better paying jobs somewhere else.

I am going to watch The Dark Knight later and I already have tickets.

I am looking forward to watching it, because the movie got a high review ( 9.7 in IMDb ) . Another reason why I’m going to watch this movie is because of Heath Ledger. Aside this being his last movie, I heard that his performance is award winning.

I just hope I won’t be disappointed, after knowing all of the good things about the movie.

My mom got released yesterday but she needs to go back to the hospital next week for a lot of tests. The doctors still aren’t sure of the reason why she fainted but they think it’s an “Unstable Angina”.

She wants to go back to work immediately but of course she needs to rest first. All of us advised her to retire but she said that she needs to finish something first before she retires.

The most important thing is she’s fine now and all of us can sleep peacefully.

My mom was rushed to the hospital last Saturday because she suddenly fainted at the Mall. She was admitted in the ICU because they needed to monitor her Blood Pressure and Heart. It was really hard waiting because we can’t see her when we want to and the visiting hour is so short (9-11 am and 5-7pm).

When my mom was getting a bit better, she really wanted to go home but the doctor won’t let her. The doctor said that they still don’t know the reason why she fainted because all of the tests were negative and her stress test was normal. The good thing is the doctor said it was fine to transfer her to a regular room. We can now visit her anytime we want to. I just hope she’ll get better soon.

There are a lot of good movies showing that I want to watch. Wanted, Hancock, Journey to the center of the Earth and The Dark Knight. I just wish a have a lot of money to watch them all. Fortunately I was able to watch Wanted and it was awesome, especially Mr. Tumnus (James McAvoy’s role in The Chronicles of Narnia).

My favorite part in the movie was when Angelina was driving the car and turned it around to catch James in the passenger seat.

So if you haven’t seen the movie……… watch it, watch it.

Now I know what reward I’ll give to Kyle after he’s finished with the reviewer. He is requesting to buy a Crash B-Daman toy along with the shoe on his birthday. But I don’t know what model to get. Maybe he’ll like this one.

Kyle is having a hard time studying Tagalog words in school. Because of that, I made a reviewer that consists of pictures of animals, things and places in English and Tagalog.

At first Kyle was complaining that he can’t do it because it was too hard, but I said that he just needs to review 3 words a day. It was ok with him plus I said that I will give him a reward if he can finish the reviewer before his birthday. After saying that, he was more determined in studying the reviewer.

My problem now is what reward to give.
