Congratulations

Tuesday, August 28th, 2007

Finally, our long wait is over. The nursing board exam was released and my wife passed. We got the news from Inquirer.net .

A total of 64,909 took the nursing board exam, but only 48% passed. That’s why it took 2 month and 2 weeks before it was released.

Congratulations to everyone who passed!!!!

Kid’s Magic

Here’s a video of Kyle’s cousins (Paolo and Jaden) playing magic. They were good actors. Hahaha

Can you do that? lol

Tom’s World Birthday Party

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Last Saturday, Kyle attended a birthday Party. All children were given ride all you can tickets, but because not all invited were able to come, (because of the typhoon) the remaining tickets were given to adults (*cough* including me, haha).

With the Bday celebrant

With Aunt Irish

2 big rats, I think…. The mascots, Tom and Joy

Ride wid’ me….Elephant and Giraffe

Mini Bowling. STRIKE!

I wish all children parties are like this, where the adult can be kids again. Hahaha

Rain

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

Today, Kyle didn’t have school because of the heavy rains. All levels in school were suspended and even government offices. My sister works at a government office and my mom works at a University, so all of them were staying at home, where it’s dry.

For me, all wet and afraid of not being able to go home. I hope I won’t have a hard time in getting home.

Here’s a picture that they emailed at the gate of our house.

Just outside our house. It’s like they’re saying that “We’re at home, you are not” bwahaha

Ratatouille

Monday, August 13th, 2007

Watched the movie and it was great. What a great idea of saying “Anyone can cook!”

In this movie, Linguini starts as a garbage boy and accidentally spills a pot of soup. He tries to cover up his mistake by adding random ingredients but unsuccessful. Then Rémy falls to the kitchen floor but instead of escaping, fixes the soup and the customers loved it.

Rémy controls Linguini by holding his hair and stays hidden inside Linguini’s toque blanche.

I advise everyone to watch Ratatouille, especially those who doesn’t know how to cook. :)

Kuya Kyle

Friday, August 10th, 2007

Kyle is officially a “KUYA” or a Big brother. This is Lance, his cousin (not his brother). :)

Kyle was excited to be a Kuya, cause at home he is the youngest. So this is the first time for Kyle being older to someone.

We always ask Kyle to pamper Lance when he is crying and he follows anyway. Maybe he wants to act as a big brother.

Simpsons Movie

Wednesday, August 8th, 2007

Finally, we have seen the Simpsons movie.

The movie was a bit short, (compared to a movie, not a cartoon TV show). The kids were laughing from start to finish.

Problem was, Kyle can’t stop asking why Homer was like this and that. I kept on explaining that what Homer was doing is wrong and it’s just a cartoon and it’s not real.

Overall the movie was ok and the kids loved it, especially the Spider Pig portion. :)

Hotwheels at the Mall

Friday, August 3rd, 2007

The last time we visited the mall, there was a Hotwheels event happening. In order to get inside, you had to purchase a hotwheels item in a certain amount. Of course Kyle wanted to go inside and play, so here I am emptying my pockets again. Haha
