Too Much Photoshop?

Have you seen the Demi Moore article on Yahoo! today? She appeared on the “W” magazine, and some people have spotted that a huge chunk of her hip was obviously photoshopped out to give her a skinnier look. It made me search for other Photoshopped images of celebrities, like this one of Faith Hill:

I understand where the publishers are coming from, but don’t you think that’s a little too much? They look good without going through extreme measures (check out Faith Hill’s arms and forearms, they became extremely tiny). Honestly, I think what they’ve done just increases the wrong body image that people have these days. It just stinks because it makes people aim to look like what they see on pictures, when in fact, that’s not actually naturally true.

“Heroes” Finally Has Direction

Finally! After all these weeks, an episode in the new season of “Heroes” finally makes sense. I know a lot of people have given up on the show, but the recent episode just made me think there’s still a chance for it to work. It wasn’t as great as the older storylines (especially the one from Season 1), but at least it actually had direction, compared to what they’ve shown so far.

Oh, and I’m sad. They’ve canceled “Dollhouse”. It wasn’t the best Joss Whedon show, but it was still a good show. Too bad I wouldn’t be able to see what’s going to happen between Sierra and Victor.

Darkside Chronicles

The game’s set for release tomorrow! I can’t wait. Even if it’s an on-rails game, it’s still Resident Evil, so it’s gonna be awesome! The game features the RE2 and CVX scenarios, as well as a brand-new one featuring Leon and Krauser (yes, the guy with the mutated arm in RE4) in South America, which is probably their first mission as special agents. I’m a little sad Jill won’t be there, but at least Chris will be, and it would be great to see Claire in HD.:p The trailers have been amazing so far. My only worry is the motion, since they made it so that the camera moves along with the characters, so if they’re running, there’s bouncing and stuff. I get motion sickness easily, so I hope the game won’t trigger it.x_x

NaNoWriMO Update

Just a quick update about my NaNoWriMo experience this year: I’m failing.x_x I should be near 25,000 by the second week, but I haven’t even made it to 10,000. Argh. I’ve really been busy, what with school starting again and my crazy paper still not done, so yeah. I’m hoping I’ll win again this year, but it doesn’t look good right now.:(
