US Trip Day 5: From Vegas to LA
So it was finally our last day in Vegas. Before we headed back to LA, we went on a side trip to check out Hoover Dam and Lake Mead: I think they were building a bridge or something on one side of the dam. On our way back to LA, I got bored and decided to take random pictures on the way (hey, it was a six-hour drive, I was bored :P): The shot’s way off-center.:P I only realized the Death Valley sign until we were almost right under it. X marks the spot?

Did you take the tour of the dam? Any time I go to Vegas, I always make sure to do that, it never gets old.

azog: No, we didn’t get to.:( By the time we reached the dam, it was already 3 p.m., and my sister wanted to get back to LA before it got too dark.

Aww, that’s a shame. Yea, you would not have had any time to take the tour at that rate. If you want, I can post some pix of my last visit, so you can see what you missed
