US Trip: San Francisco Day 2
On to Day 2!
We spent the following day touring the San Francisco area. Guess what car we were in?
I just blurred out the license plate, but yep, we took that limo to go around SF!XD My sister got it to surprise our ‘rents. My brother and I were in on the prank, so it was pretty funny when we saw their reaction. Anyway, I took this picture on our first stop. We went to this place where you could supposedly overlooks San Francisco, but the weather was still pretty bad (see how thick the fog was?) so we didn’t end up staying there for long. It’s pretty cool, because the driver brought us all over. From old churches like this one (my mom loves old churches, for some reason)…
To Chinatown…
To the downtown area (brands galore!), that also has the theatre, the opera house, and all the other places…
To the area around the city hall (we were supposed to go in the museums and other places too, but there wasn’t enough time)…
To another hill overlooking San Francisco (I can’t remember the name of the place, but at least the clouds disappeared somewhat for us to get better pictures)…
To one of their beaches…
To some Japanese gardens…
To the Golden Gate Bridge (of course! We were lucky, because as soon as we got our photos taken there, the fog returned and covered it up. Oh, and did you know that its official color name is international orange?)
To a park in Lyon (I can’t remember what it’s called, but apparently, it’s a fave spot for weddings and other events)…
To the Victorian houses, including the famous “Painted Ladies” near Alamo Square…
And then finally, to Lombard Street, which they say is the crookedest street.

Haha! Hardly! What happened was that it turned out that the price for limo rental isn’t that different compared to renting a regular car (drivers included in the package, of course). It was only around a $70 difference, so my sister opted for the limo.XD

That farshot of the Golden Gate is fantastic, with the fog rolling right over the roadway.

kuromi_lauren, I guess it wasn’t my fate to be haunted on my visit there.:P
azog, I would’ve loved to take a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge at night, but the weather didn’t really cooperate with us.:P
