So I got my grades today, and I’m very, very pleased with what I got.^_^ Well, there’s this one class that I hoped I got a little higher (especially since it’s the one I slaved over the most!) but meh. At least I performed better this sem than last term (probably because I don’t have a darn advanced statistics class this semester XD). Anyway, just to share, I went back to my hometown for Easter. It’s imperative for our family to try to be together on holidays, so my siblings and I try to go home on breaks. For this break though, it was only me, because my oldest sister’s already married, my other sister’s out of the country, and my brother’s working, so bleh. It was just me. I know Azog and some of the others who live in the West would love to live in a place with warmer weather to avoid winter, but for someone who’s lived in a tropical area practically all her life, it’s no picnic, especially in my hometown. The sun was scorching to the point that I’d get a migraine just by going out for a short while, and it was so hot that you would probably get sunburn by just by spending less than an hour outdoors. It was that hot.x_x Still, it’s good to be back home. I don’t know about you, but going back to your hometown brings a certain kind of peace, and it’s almost cathartic, in a way. Anyway, the road trip back home was pretty long, so what I usually do to relieve boredom (if I’m not sleeping) is to take snaps, courtesy of my ever-faithful camphone. Hope you like ‘em.:P I can almost imagine a tumbleweed suddenly appearing and rolling in the photo, just make the grass a little drier.XD Yeah. I have no idea what that line with the little flags was doing there, and what was smoking there. Anyway, if you look closely at the background, the mountains are brown, which is usually what happens when summer comes here. They turn green during the rainy season though, which is more to my liking. I like being surrounded by plants and greenery more. No, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you. The sun is even brighter than this, the car windows have a pretty dark tint. I have no idea what this tree is, but I thought it looked pretty. Took this picture when we were stuck in traffic.
