Dawn Treader’s Sails Get Ripped
I read from alpha7’s blog that the third scheduled film in the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has been shelved by Disney. Apparently, there was a dispute over the budget, and as a result, they pulled out. I hope they still continue making this movie.:( Even if Dawn Treader’s not my uber-favorite, it’s still in my top three (the first two are "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" and "The Magician’s Nephew") so I want to see it on the big screen. Also, this is the last story that Lucy and Edmund would appear in (until "The Last Battle", anyway), so it would be nice to know how they’re going to be able to execute that (and cousin Eustace too, of course).

Sorry that the next “Narnia” movie’s been shelved. I guess it’s ’cause “Prince Caspian” didn’t do so well in theaters.

I actually liked Caspian (the whole Susan/Caspian thing was a little weird, but it wasn’t unbearable). LOTR and Narnia are the only books-turned-movies I like so far, so I hope they change their minds.
