Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. Go Obama!
Barack Obama has sworn in as the 44th President of the USA! I’m not American, and I’ve only gone to the States for vacations, but I just have to say that I’m really, really happy that he won and he’s the won who has sworn in today. I really hope that he’s going to be the one bringing the much-needed changes he talked about in his campaign. I really believe that the reason why people are feeling so hopeful these days in spite of the economic crisis and what-not is because of him.
