Remember the Badtz the Bear coin bank? I actually saw one when I was at the mall over the weekend! The box is different from the one I posted earlier, but it’s pretty much the same thing.:P The store is actually a new discovery for me, because they have the quirkiest stuff. Check these out: They were selling more stuff than these, but I wasn’t able to take a picture of those anymore (the lady minding the stuff was looking at me weirdly). I’m pretty sure these things are probably rip-offs, but they still look pretty cute! I wanna buy those little mushroom things from Mario.
Got this from a friend, thought I’d share it with you.XD Heh. Not really a fan of Steven Seagal (I haven’t even watched one of his movies from beginning to end!) but from what I’ve seen, this about sums it up.XD
I read from alpha7’s blog that the third scheduled film in the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, "The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has been shelved by Disney. Apparently, there was a dispute over the budget, and as a result, they pulled out. I hope they still continue making this movie.:( Even if Dawn Treader’s not my uber-favorite, it’s still in my top three (the first two are "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" and "The Magician’s Nephew") so I want to see it on the big screen. Also, this is the last story that Lucy and Edmund would appear in (until "The Last Battle", anyway), so it would be nice to know how they’re going to be able to execute that (and cousin Eustace too, of course).
Just thought I’d feature the two events (at least, as far as I know) that Sanriotown has right now. First off, the Sanrio Yummies Contest! People who are great at cooking and baking (unlike me, I can’t cook to save my life) can compete to win Hello Kitty cooking stuff if their entries win. The challenge is that what you cook has to be "kitty-fied" (at least, that’s how I understood it XD), so those who have talent in the kitchen, this event’s for you.:P The other one’s for Chinese New Year. You have to make a Dreamstudio video showing how the lunar new year is celebrated where you live. There’s no actual gift/prize that you can get if you participate, but you’ll have bragging rights if your video’s featured in the "Director’s Club" (kinda like the Blog All-Stars thing, I think). Are you guys joining these?
No, I don’t owe anyone or any resto/company money.XD I took this weird online quiz to see what key on the keyboard I am (don’t ask :P), and I got this result: You work quickly and efficiently. So it’s no problem if you goof off a little while you’re working. For a crazy quiz, it’s pretty accurate.:P
You Are "tab"
Some people might try to say that you’re always spaced out.
You do tend to be a dreamer, but you’re also a great multitasker.
And if people want to think you’re flakey, that’s fine. You’re getting more done than they are.
Today I say to you that the challenges we face are real. They are serious and they are many. They will not be met easily or in a short span of time. But know this, America — they will be met. On this day, we gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord. Go Obama!
Barack Obama has sworn in as the 44th President of the USA! I’m not American, and I’ve only gone to the States for vacations, but I just have to say that I’m really, really happy that he won and he’s the won who has sworn in today. I really hope that he’s going to be the one bringing the much-needed changes he talked about in his campaign. I really believe that the reason why people are feeling so hopeful these days in spite of the economic crisis and what-not is because of him.
| You Are Buttermilk Pancakes |
Your prefer traditional, old fashioned foods. You shy away from anything fake, and you like meals with simple ingredients. It’s not likely someone would find margarine or diet soda in your kitchen. |
Yeah. Obviously, I’m bored and I have nothing to do.x_x Well, actually, I have a lot of stuff to do (like studying for my tests and writing papers!), but I just feel to lazy doing ‘em.XD Has that ever happened to you, that you have so many things that you have to take care of but you just end up killing time?:P
Oh, speaking of killing time… I just bought a Wii! Hurray! It’s actually second-hand, my friend sold it to me (he wants to buy an Xbox 360), which is fine, since it still works and all.:P Kinda like an early birthday present for myself. And for my brother, but his birthday’s still on November, so he doesn’t count.:P
Now this quiz just made me crave for pancakes.
In celebration of Resident Evil 5 being released in a couple of months’ time, here’s a conspiracy theory for you.XD Watch these two videos. Pay attention to Chris Redfield in the first video (he’s the one who shakes his head after seeing the helicopter that crashed), and the lead vocalist on the second video and tell me that’s not Chris Redfield practising his new career.XD Oh, and for those who have easily queasy stomachs, you might want to skip the first part of the first video.XD
Man, stress is getting to me.:P Exams month! Yikes!
I was checking around other people’s blogs, and I came upon GM-Zel’s blog. I haven’t met him yet, but I’ve read comments (mostly with him and Serenity fighting XD), and he sounds like a pretty cool guy.:P Here’s something I got from his blog: Not the splatters, silly! You mess around with a virtual psychopen that spouts off ink! Really cool.
