Perfume: The Story of a Murderer

Saturday, June 16th, 2007

I got out of the house today.

I went to Rob Galleria at around 12nn and played 1 game of W.o.W. with Bart. I chatted with Conci and Gaeb and revealed my forum identity to them. :p

I headed to Shangri-la at 12:40 and arrived to find out that the tickets to Perfume were going to be released only at 1:30pm. I saw Pao Pei who was getting tickets as well. She left though. At around 1:25 Aerol arrived and got in line around 90 or so people behind me. It was an R-18 movie so I was asked my age. I answered and thankfully I passed. I went to the back of the line to get tickets for Jamie and the others. I wore my jacket and took off my glasses but the lady in charge of giving tickets recognized me. :p

Jamie and her parents arrived just in the nick of time. They got the last 3 tickets. We needed one ticket more so I made a deal with Aerol. I gave him the stub for cheaper food from the moviehouse snackbar and he gives me his ticket. Jamie and I went ahead downstairs to get some photos printed then fetched her friend Lori(one of her kabarkadas at UAP) at Powerbooks.

We hung out at the line to the movies and talked about various stuff. We watched it and the movie was good up to the part of the orG wherein I couldn’t help but laugh.

We ate at Cibo and was sort of grilled by Jamie’s parents when Jamie and Lori went down to get the pictures. Her father is cool. He talked about China, economy, and marketing and making me interested in it. We had some pasta.

Celebrating Father’s day with another family is a first for me.

Growing up…

Tuesday, June 12th, 2007

I saw Arthur and the Incredibles at the FFF12.

It was funny especially since there are some scenes that I think weren’t supposed to be in there since it’s supposed to be a show for little kids. 10yr olds aren’t supposed to be thinking that kind of stuff. It should be all about cooties and everything. I guess kids these days are growing up fast.

It’s just as wrong as the Pinocchio + thong scene in Shrek 2. I haven’t seen the 3rd yet but I saw in the newspaper that it has hit grossed Php100million already. Am I right in thinking that there would be some inappropriate stuff in there as well?

Today(June 12th)  is the independence day of the Philippines; not yesterday as our president moved the holiday so that there would be a 3 day weekend to make people take vacations to the provinces and whatnot and promote tourism I guess.

I just want to say hi to Sally who will be reading this post.

*sigh*  I forgot to put the mood icons last post.

The return???

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

The blog is back! I took a vacation from home and went to my cousin Raoul’s house for Monday to Wednesday and did nothing but eat, sleep, watch TV, and play Rogue Galaxy and Gundam VS Zeta Gundam on the PS2.

I saw Curse of the Golden Flower… and all I can say is wow.

Lost backlog + Moods

Friday, May 4th, 2007

Ok I’m back. I don’t really have much to tell you guys since all I’ve been up to lately is watching some backlog of Lost Season 3 that I’ve downloaded.

I’ve decided to use the mood icons I used to do on LJ since I miss it.

Current Mood:Happy Hello Kitty is: Happy

I will survive! / Painkillers are happiness! :D

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

I’m feeling at about 90% right now. I may not be able to run, jump or whatever anymore but I’m still alive thanks to God! :)

I’ve been taking some painkillers to kill the pain so that it won’t hurt as much when I try to move around. But I can move around! Lifting heavy objects is now a no-no. We went to Robinson’s Galleria and some escalators weren’t working so I used the elevator to go up. After the movie, the escalators in a different area weren’t working so I had to painully walk down it. What movie did we watch?

Spiderman 3 was cool.  I was kinda wishing that the actor who played Eric Foreman from That 70’s show would replace Toby McGuire as Spiderman in future movies but I guess that would be highly improbable now that he’s a character in Spiderman 3. The special effects are fantastic.

I’ve got two very wonderful wounds on my right knee to help me remember the days that I lost my mobility. They haven’t healed yet but I suppose the scars would make a cool story to tell.

I talked to Jamie (Those who could find my LJ can find a pic of her + stories somewhere in the 2005 area) and we shared our experiences with the ocean. I told her about the first time I snorkeled last Sunday and she told me about her diving incident back in first year. We were both panicky when water started to fill our masks. Oh and we both can’t swim. Crazy girl. :p She always lightens up my day especially when we share stories.

The American Idol and other stuff.

Thursday, April 26th, 2007

Today was the best American Idol ever since Ellen Degeneres, Jack Black, SEAL, and Il Divo were all present! It was really cheesy of them not to eliminate anyone though since the best part of the show is when the contestants cry during the elimination.

I watched Wild Hogs today and it was funny. I recommend it for everyone!

I saw Pussycat Dolls: The search for the next Doll and was wowed by the performances. The cutest one is Chelsea Korka who I think should win. :) I wonder if they will wear neko ears in the future? :p

The current series that I’m watching/waiting for are Heroes, Smallville, Veronica Mars, Lost, Scrubs, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, House, Good Girls Don’t, Still Standing, and Prison Break. For Anime: Initial D, Deathnote, Super Robot Wars Original Generation: Divine Wars

The current PS2 games I’ve been playing are Shining Force EXA, Rogue Galaxy, and Gundam VS Zeta Gundam.

I’ve added 2 more blog links.
