Slow slow slow site

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

Ever since the Hello Kitty blog returned, it’s been so so slow for me. If this continues on the Happy Hello Hangout might not be so happy anymore.

It was my shoti’s birthday last May 11th and we ate at Kimpura, Makati. The food was divine. We had STEAK, gyoza, ebi tempura, kakiage, unagi, salmon, oysters, and curry fried rice. I had A&W rootbeer for my drink and a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert!

The return???

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

The blog is back! I took a vacation from home and went to my cousin Raoul’s house for Monday to Wednesday and did nothing but eat, sleep, watch TV, and play Rogue Galaxy and Gundam VS Zeta Gundam on the PS2.

I saw Curse of the Golden Flower… and all I can say is wow.

Free Comic Book Day! - Aftermath

Saturday, May 5th, 2007

I got on the RRCG bus towards Galleria but it stopped near the Floodway bridge because it had a flat and I had to wait a good 10 minutes before the next RRCG bus arrived so that I may continue my journey.

I arrived at Comic Odyssey at around 12nn and they only had 3 titles left since I arrived so late already.

  1. Legion of Super Heroes in the 31st Century
  2. Archie Comics Little Archie
  3. Who wants to be a superhero

I browsed the shop then took the 3 titles and went out. I saw Jojo looking at people playing in a .\\:tG tournament sponsored by Neutral Grounds. He just happened to have bought a comic some time before me and got a few nifty titles too. I told him that I went to Galleria just because it was free comic book day  and it ran out of Transformers the Movie Prequel #1 which was the one I looked forward to the most. Lo and behold, he pulls one out and just gave it to me. It’s nice to have friends. Thank you!

Lost backlog + Moods

Friday, May 4th, 2007

Ok I’m back. I don’t really have much to tell you guys since all I’ve been up to lately is watching some backlog of Lost Season 3 that I’ve downloaded.

I’ve decided to use the mood icons I used to do on LJ since I miss it.

I will survive! / Painkillers are happiness! :D

Thursday, May 3rd, 2007

I’m feeling at about 90% right now. I may not be able to run, jump or whatever anymore but I’m still alive thanks to God! :)

I’ve been taking some painkillers to kill the pain so that it won’t hurt as much when I try to move around. But I can move around! Lifting heavy objects is now a no-no. We went to Robinson’s Galleria and some escalators weren’t working so I used the elevator to go up. After the movie, the escalators in a different area weren’t working so I had to painully walk down it. What movie did we watch?

Spiderman 3 was cool.  I was kinda wishing that the actor who played Eric Foreman from That 70’s show would replace Toby McGuire as Spiderman in future movies but I guess that would be highly improbable now that he’s a character in Spiderman 3. The special effects are fantastic.

I’ve got two very wonderful wounds on my right knee to help me remember the days that I lost my mobility. They haven’t healed yet but I suppose the scars would make a cool story to tell.

I talked to Jamie (Those who could find my LJ can find a pic of her + stories somewhere in the 2005 area) and we shared our experiences with the ocean. I told her about the first time I snorkeled last Sunday and she told me about her diving incident back in first year. We were both panicky when water started to fill our masks. Oh and we both can’t swim. Crazy girl. :p She always lightens up my day especially when we share stories.
