Ok, yeah I know it’s christmas day but theres pretty much nothing to do after youve opened all your presents (unless theyre really cool games or CD’s) so here i am..writing this blog.

 quite a good haul this year, but i didnt get any money or trainers (sneakers) ): so the january sales will be rather depressing.

Now..im going to help with the dinner, for some reason we have sprouts.
You may think this to be odd, but considering I live in Britian, its the first time we’ve ever had them.

also, erm i suppose hooray, its christmas next week
as some may know from my previous blog before last I dont care much for this holiday but still, its nice to get presents for nothing.

 my college finished for christmas holidays last monday so i’ve been bored pretty much all week.

all my shopping is done now..well..sort of, just for my brother but that won’t take too long.

I have achieved getting an interview at Gloucester University next week tuesday, and boy am I nervous
I mean, what if they don’t like me? what if i’m not good enough ?!
and no one seems to be prouder of me than myself, which sucks.

any advice for keeping the butterflies away?
i may have to change my pants otherwise.

I’m trying to keep ontop of this blog as much as possible, even though I have so much work I have to do right now. Procrastination is not a good thing at all.

 As well as having to find the time to find christmas presents, I have an english essay that is late about a speech in King Lear, a secondary research project that I need to keep on top of (its like an academic blog, very boring), research for my media print project, film studies coursework that was supposed to be in on monday (oops) that I havent even started yet D: and i have to revise for  exam I have in january! and a report i have to write about what i have done so far in something thing about something…i dont know…and right, i have to research about the film Chung King Express, who directed it and how china was effected when the british took over.

 just, kill me now, please? I wonder if everyone else has this much to do?
I’m so greatful i dropped Communication Studies, or this could have been much worse.

 And ive had to go home alone all week because E is sick with tonsillitus ¬¬, i hope she is in tomorrow, i have an 1hr 1/2 break to be alone in D:

But there is some good news, I’ve had an offer from The University Of Derby to study Film, which is great because it was second on my list of Uni’s I wanted to go to the most hooray!

I hate Christmas.

I really, really do.

I hate the shopping. I hate the music. I hate the christmas jumpers. I hate cherubs. I hate holly. I hate cranberry sauce. I hate the commerciality of the once so spiritual holiday. And most of all..i HATE how everyone is so happy ALL the time.

I sound like such a Grinch but Christmas is just too depressing for me. Having suffered a great loss around 2 years ago, nothing but painful memories surrounds christmas for me.

Ok, I like getting new stuff, and the way the christmas tree looks in the dark when the lights are on, and the food! Oh yes, the food has to be the best part of christmas (even the tradtional overly dry turkey, drowing in gravy to make it slightly edible).

I went into town yesterday. The german market is back, and this has to be the most loathesome traditions that we have in birmingham. I try to avoid it as much as possible. This is because the people here…are VICIOUS. They see. They want. THEY WILL GET. Even it means losing an eye or a tooth in the process.

What drives people to go to overboard and, excuse my slang, properly MENTAL at christmas? I mean..come on, its just one day of the year.

Isnt being with your family and sharing eachothers company, if at least just for one day of the year, enough?

I don’t really know what to put here, i’m a little embarrassed to be honest with you but i’ll try my best.

Erm, im 17 and I live in Birmingham UK. I go to college like most normal british teenagers and I study Film, Media and English Language&Literature. I plan to go o University in 2009 to study Film, fingers crossed i’ll get in!

I do watch anime, Shugo Chara (and Shugo Chara! Doki), D. gray-man, hunterxhunter, Rosario + Vampire, Chaos;Head and Soul Eater really bored). I’d read manga, but it’s too expensive.

I like music but my tastes vary from Buddy Holly to From First To Last. I don’t listen to hip hop or rnb, except for when i’m at work and i’m forced to.

I have a great sense of humour, but just incase..I’m really osrry if i offend you. I’m only here to talk and make friends afterall n____n

I’ll post more, my life isn’t particularly interesting but I’ll tell you anyway.
