*Sigh* I guess you could tell from my title that I’m not a pachyderm anymore. My sister arrived back home and, well… Mama: *brightly* Mimmy, Kitty’s coming home today? Aren’t you excited? Me: *attempts to smile* Yes, Mama! I am! But… I’ve got a headache, can I just go upstairs and lie down for a moment? Mama: Alright, but you have to make sure you go down later, so you don’t forget to say "Hello!" to your sister. *laughs at her own joke* Me: Er, right *smiles weakly again* Later in my room, I was so close to sleep when the door suddenly burst open. Kitty: Mimmy! I’m so glad to see you! You wouldn’t believe how many people came and adored me! Me: Urm, good for you, Kitty *drowsily* Kitty: Yep! They were so many! They all were chanting my name and waving around stuff with my face on it! It’s so sweet! I *turns to look at me and then screams* Me: What’s wrong? Kitty: *in a hushed voice* Mimmy, don’t make any sudden movements. There’s a snake on your bed. Me: There’s a what? *still sleepy* Suddenly, Kitty pounced! Before I knew it, she had her claws out and was scratching my lovely trunk to pieces. Kitty: Take that! And this! And have some of this! Before I knew it, my lovely trunk was lying in shreds.:’( Kitty: *satisfied tone* That’ll teach you to attack my sister!*turns to me* Aren’t you proud of me, Mimmy? I saved your life! Yay me! Me: *sob* And I was just starting to learn to water my garden with my trunk.:’(
