Okay, you probably heard from Keroppi that we weren’t able to make it to the airport in time to say goodbye to Zashiki and Tabby. We thought we were going to make it, but suddenly, there was this huge parade that suddenly appeared out of nowhere, and the roads became congested in like, five seconds. Result: the thirty minute-car trip suddenly became two hours worth of torture. Seriously. Fitting three bodies in a mini-car isn’t really the most comfortable of car trips (no offense, of course, Keroppi). I mean, we’re cute and all, but we’re not that kind of cute (translation: we’re not teeny tiny).
Anyway, we got back home super late. I was really tired, and I was thinking that I’d just have a nice, hot bath and then pop in bed. Suddenly, a flash of red popped in front of my face, with a little, gray fuzzy thing.
Me: Eeek!
Kitty (carrying the tarantula - She named it Fifi, hairball only knows why): Heya, Mimmy! Where’ve you been?
(I wasn’t in the mood to talk because I was so upset, so I tried to avoid her.)
Me: Out.
Kitty: Where out?
Me: You know, out.
Kitty: Where out?
Me: *Sighs* Well, you see, Zashiki and Tabby have flown to…
Kitty: Hey, you know what happened to me today? I was, like, out shopping at the mall, well, you know how I love to shop, and I saw this gorgeous bag, and it was, like, really pink and all, so I thought, hey, why not get it, but then, like, I remembered I didn’t bring any cash, but then the saleslady saw me, and she was like, “Hey, you’re Hello Kitty!” and I was like, “The one and only!” *giggles* and she went and called everyone, and the next thing I knew, they were giving me this huge parade! It was a bit of a bore, of course, but hey, I can’t help but be popular! *giggles* The parade was so much fun! There were balloons and all, and they even gave me the bag I liked so much. See? (shoves the bag in my face). We created major traffic though, but anyway, it was all good. Everyone loves me, after all, so I don’t think no one was bothered by it.
Man, I saw red, and it’s not just because of the bright bow that was right in my face as I was being poked by the bag. I just left. I don’t think she noticed though, because she was busy preening in front of the mirror. She’s really so full of herself sometimes.
Here I am, depressed and all because I wasn’t able to say goodbye to one of my dearest friends, and my lovely sister’s downstairs giggling at Grandma and Grandpa (our parents went out for dinner) about how cute she is.
Sometimes I wish I wasn’t the younger twin. Maybe things would have been different if that was the case.
