Mood: Rockin’ ‘n’ Rollin’!

People have been suggesting that a rocker chick image wouldn’t really suit me. I don’t really know why, but I really want to try it out, because it’s really different from how my dear sister makes herself appear to be. Anyway, I’m thinking of what instrument I could start and play, and I decided on the guitar. I want to be hardcore, but not annoying, and if I don’t take lessons, the only sound I’ll be able to produce is when my claws scratch against the blackboard (my fur rises just thinking about it).

I called in a favor from Mr. Agent (I still haven’t forgiven him, but I do need help) and asked him to go and contact a photographer and stylist for me to help me out in this image makeover. The pictures below are the result:

What do you think? Do I look fierce?:D Which one works best? Or should I scrap the rock idea completely and go with Tabby’s suggestion - that I become hiphop?

What if I drop the color yellow and wear all black instead? But no, yellow is my trademark!

Rawr. Who knew getting a new image could be this hard?

Mood: Happy

Okay, I thought all night about what my new image would be like. I’m actually contemplating being a rocker kitty, but something more hardcore (tougher than Josie and the Pussycats, of course. Maybe something like the lead vocalist of Paramore?)

Anyway, I was thinking of a theme song that I could use. My dear sister can go and say “K-I-T-T-Y!” all day, but I prefer something more… let’s just say modern. How about if it goes something like…

Call me Mimmy ’cause that’s my name
I’m not your plain kitten and I’m definitely not lame
I’ve got the moves and I’ve got the brains
I’m from England and not Japan with the paper cranes

Okay, okay. So it’s definitely a work in progress. Maybe you could add rockin’ guitar riffs and drum solos. What do you think?:) Would the rocker cat work?

Mood: Thoughtful

I got into thinking after I posted my entry yesterday. I don’t think I’m going to be bigheaded enough to assume that the mooncake makers really made the cakes shaped like my head (yes, it hurts, but honesty is the best policy after all.) Anyway, I realized that people who don’t know any better (read: pirates) are making products that they think feature my dear sister Kitty, when in fact it’s yours truly that they’re showing. I’m against piracy, of course (they’re gaining a lot for something that they don’t really deserve - kinda sounds like someone that I know), but it’s certainly giving me more air time than if they’re not there. Check these pictures out:

I know, they’re not really me - the color’s all wrong, to begin with, but the ribbon is on the right ear. For a minute, though, it feels good, seeing your face in items again after a long time.

How do I let these people know that what they’re doing is wrong, but promote my exposure at the same time? It doesn’t seem like Sanrio’s all that eager to have my design out anytime soon (even if Kitty and I are literally mirror images of each other), so how do I get legitimate airtime? I don’t want to milk the situation (even if it is tempting) and rely on underhanded advertising to get the recognition I deserve. I’m not that desperate. Well, maybe I am, but that doesn’t mean that I have to go the bad route. Besides, with the way my luck is going, people probably assume that these pictures are of Kitty, who just got tired of wearing her ribbon on her ear so she transferred it to the other one.

Maybe I should just change my image completely so I can be taken as separate from Kitty. I could even become punk or rock, even hiphop! Maybe if I do that, people would remember me more, and think of me as Mimmy, not as Kitty’s twin sister or (perish the thought) her pirated version.

Kisses,
Mimmy

Mood: Insanely happy

Heehee! Pardon the pun, but it looks like the mooncake festival made people different, and it might bring something good!

Kuromi dropped by earlier with a box of mooncakes, just for me!^^ Even if she’s still teasing me about not knowing my name (how can she forget? She’s got me on her blogroll!), I’m pretty sure the cakes are a peace offering (I did, after all, extend a very sincere apology to her) after all that happened in the past. I’m so touched! I hope this will make things all great and happy again, especially since she doesn’t seem to have all that much affection for my dear sister. She also gave some to Kero (he received the most, he’s got a huuuge family, after all), Zashiki and Tabby, and Badtzy. I hope XO won’t go and complain again - that little penguin seems to complain about anything and everything.@_@

I don’t really know much about mooncakes, actually.@_@ I hope it doesn’t have milk, otherwise…@_@

Oh yeah, following that thought… Kitty’s in the bathroom right now. Typical her, when she saw the boxful of mooncakes, she squealed and immediately began eating them. She was on her third when she suddenly turned a shade of green (which isn’t easy if you’re covered in white fur, I’m telling you) and ran to the bathroom. That was at 10 a.m., and it’s already past 3 now, and she hasn’t gotten out yet. Maybe I should check up on her… Sure, she’s a bit greedy, arrogant, and self-centered at times, but she’s still my sister of course.

Maybe I should bake Kuromi some cookies or cake to pay her back for the mooncake - and for doing something, er, unexpected with the stuff. >:D

Oh yeah, I read in her blog that she deliberately chose the mooncakes shaped like Kitty’s head. I think she was just saying that, or the manufacturers got confuzzled.^^ The bow was definitely on the right ear - my mark. Heeh!

Mood: Sleepy

Someone commented on my last entry that Mama has no eyebrows. Actually, she does.

See? Weeell… You really can’t see it, because it’s under her cap. She’s got really teeny, tiny ones and they’re really up on her forehead. That’s why she needs the pencil, just so people can know they’re there - but it doesn’t really help that much.:/

My sister and I have eyebrows too, but, well, like our fur, they’re also white, so you can’t really see them.

Anyway, I’m going back to bed. I had a very tiring day outrunning Kitty and the tarantula.

Good night, everyone.
