Ho ho ho! Hello Kitty Online’s first official, big-time event for Founders’ Beta is now upon us! Hunger Strike introduces us to Pochi who has found himself in such a… “healthy” predicament, and it’s up to you to help him out!

Do you remember your mother telling you to eat your vegetables because they’re good for you? And how eating fruits is better than eating candy because fruits are Mother Nature’s candies? Looks like Pochi wasn’t listening to his mother! *Gasp*
You will need to brush up on your farming and crafting if you want to make through this event. Hunger Strike, once completed, will reward players with the… *Drumroll* Empire Key! *Cue in lightning bolts*
To participate in this event, you’ll need to have a healthy farm in London, and enough cash to work with. So if you’re new in HKO, you can work on other quests first to get those. Once you have them, here are the steps to joining in on the fun:
- You can find Pochi in Sanrio Harbour… where it all began.
- Once you’re done helping him, take a screenshot of your inventory containing the Empire Key and send it to hkoevent[at]hellokitty.com.
- The email subject should read “Empire Key“
- The screenshot should contain your character info page opened – so that we can get your in-game name.
The true purpose of the Empire Key is still under wraps for now, but whatever you do, DO NOT DROP/SELL/TRADE it! Online glory and immortalization is at stake!

bbe- Since it has to do with New York, I’ve been thinking that the Empire Key has to do with the Empire State Building
As someone who sent the screenshot to the online:hellokitty.com address when the instructions were that (before it was changed to the hkoevent:hellokitty.com address), I have not heard anything about it. However I’m hearing that people are getting replies already and I have not heard anything although I did follow the instructions at the time. Is something going to done with those e-mails as we get credit for it too or do we have to resend them to the other e-mail?

I also submitted mine to the old e-mail listed before the e-mail and requirements were changed. I sent it again to the new e-mail with the new requirements so I hope I will stiff get credit for completing this event. (^w^)

I also completed the quest and sent the screen shot off twice (once to the old email and once to the new one provided) I don’t know if we should expect a reply to the “Empire Key” emails though…It would be nice to get a confirmation so I know my email was received. I hope I get credit for my hard work.

Just emailed my empire key. I do hope I made it in time. Agreed with kamijoanna in getting credit for the hardwork.

come to think of it, the other two event, liberty keys and the happy bday kitty, I also have not received any replies from hkoevet =(
