Awesome… but there’s one caveat: the cake that was supposed to be used for her birthday has gone missing! You have already prevented a hunger strike, wrangled monsters to submission and now, you must heed the call of duty one last time, albeit a rather sweet one.

What’s a party without cake? You dare answer that? Well, a rather LAME one. The task of sweetening the party scene falls on you, sweet-toothed one.

1. Your journey begins in Floropalis with Choco
2. Once you’re done helping her, take a screenshot of your inventory containing the Grand Central Ticket (with tooltip) and send it to hkoevent[at]hellokitty.com. With the subject header saying “Grand Central Ticket”.
3. The screenshot should contain your character info page opened – so that we can get your in-game name.

Once you’re done with the quest, head on over to the Party Room and mingle with your fellow players and Hello Kitty. Additional prizes are at stake! Make sure to wear the birthday shirt before you enter the party. Don’t be a party-pooper now!

Parties can be pretty tiring so Kitty is only available during Nov. 1, 2008 @ 9pm EST - 12am EST and again at Nov. 2, 2008 7am EST - 10am EST. Those are your windows so make the most of it!

It’s time for the second major event in Hello Kitty Online’s Founders’ Beta. Hunger Strike asked you to collect yummy, and somewhat hard to get delicacies. Monster Wrangler requires players to start hunting renegade pets in exchange for fame, fortune and… items

Make sure you arm yourself well because these monsters are stronger than their normal counterparts. However, they won’t attack unless provoked so if you just go about your merry way, then it’s all good. For this event, players are tasked to help the plighted Keroleen for she has lost her beloved pets and are now scattered all over Sanrio Land.

To participate in Monster Wrangler, you must be of substantial level (at least 15 unless you have a boatload of healing items and a bazooka) because Eagor, Speedy, Webster and Lobo are most definitely adept in fisticuffs.

1. Keroleen can be found in Paris. Yep, Paris.
2. Once you’re done helping her, take a screenshot of your inventory containing the Liberty Key (with tooltip) and send it to hkoevent[at]hellokitty.com.
3. The email subject should read “Liberty Key”

Be Nice, Guys is all about… well, being nice! If you’re nice enough, new players might actually be able to help grizzled HKO veterans.

Looks like HKO is being slowly populated by high-level players… Wouldn’t it be nice if we turn this on its head? What would happen if those high-end items became irrelevant? Hmmm that’d be nice, yeah?

Instructions:

GM-Salvador, our newbie item collector with a surprising amount of rewards, will be standing in Sanrio Harbour (all the cool things happen in Harbour, methinks). All you have to do is give him:

1. 3 newbie wands
2. 3 white tees
3. 3 traveler pants
4. 10 traveler shoes

Simple right? The payoff is quite huge too… Leopard Glasses. Heck, if you were willing to camp out for Leopard Glasses, you wouldn’t mind shelling out a couple of thousand gold for those newbie items right? Right?

So, if you’ve got friends who haven’t played HKO yet, invite them! There are still a lot of ways to get into FB via Green Pixels and MMOsite.

Alright, guys! We have another event you could sink your teeth into. As you may know, HKO just doesn’t just revolve around the game, but it also involves Sanriotown.com which is chocful of neat features that encourage User-Created Content. For this event, we will make use of Sanriotown.com’s Dream Studio. Frightspinners will require players to make a short video using screenshots taken in-game.

Theme: Basically, we want you to impress both the GMs and fellow players with a tale full of wit, pizazz and wonder but most of all, it must be a horror story that will twist our imagination like a really scary pretzel.

Instructions:

1. Use the tools found in Dream Studio to make the best video you can make using ONLY screenshots taken in-game. No 3rd party tools.
2. Players can only send in 1 video so make sure it’s your best work.
3. The video tag must ONLY be HKOEVENT.
4. Be sure to write your in-game name in the “About this video” part, along with whatever you want to put in.
5. Start the name of the video with HKOEvent:
6. Video length doesn’t matter. Let your creative juices flow.
7. The GMs will choose the best 10 and will be posted on the HKOEvent blog.
8. Players will have to vote for the top 3.
9. The top 3 will win an exclusive Hello Kitty game box containing goooodies

Ho ho ho! Hello Kitty Online’s first official, big-time event for Founders’ Beta is now upon us! Hunger Strike introduces us to Pochi who has found himself in such a… “healthy” predicament, and it’s up to you to help him out!

Do you remember your mother telling you to eat your vegetables because they’re good for you? And how eating fruits is better than eating candy because fruits are Mother Nature’s candies? Looks like Pochi wasn’t listening to his mother! *Gasp*

You will need to brush up on your farming and crafting if you want to make through this event. Hunger Strike, once completed, will reward players with the… *Drumroll* Empire Key! *Cue in lightning bolts*

To participate in this event, you’ll need to have a healthy farm in London, and enough cash to work with. So if you’re new in HKO, you can work on other quests first to get those. Once you have them, here are the steps to joining in on the fun:

1. You can find Pochi in Sanrio Harbour… where it all began.
2. Once you’re done helping him, take a screenshot of your inventory containing the Empire Key and send it to hkoevent[at]hellokitty.com.
3. The email subject should read “Empire Key“

Well, well, well this month is shaping up to be one loopy time to be a Founder in Hello Kitty Online. How so, you ask? I feel that this is the perfect time to be a little coy, hmmm maybe a little mysterious? Perhaps a smidgen of cloak and dagger will dampen an already moistened appetites our rabid and supportive Founders. Shucks, how can I be so selfish - here be the scoop, maties!

“Hunger Strike” will introduce players to an innocent person trapped in afrom a fruity predicament.

“Monster Wrangler” will make players search far and wide for lost friends and will test the Founders’ mettle.

Lastly, what better way to end Founders’ Beta than with the Birthday of Hello Kitty herself? Huzzah!

Hold on to your hats for smaller events such as “They Said What?” and “Farm Design” to keep you hooked well until the end of this season. Hold fast and true, people for Founders’ Beta is upon us.
