Belgian Mussels in Hong Kong

Probably the best and most reasonably priced Belgium Mussels in Hong Kong can be found at Leonidas next to City Super in IFC, it’s got one of the very best Mussels, the Mussels come steaming out in either white wine or cream sauce and are very tasty! Highly recommended although the place is small and doesn’t have a lot of space.

Agura, Causeway Bay

Agura located in 13/F Henry House, 42 Yun Ping Road, Causeway Bay, 2504 2928 is a fusion restaurant of Japanese, Italian and French influences. The place is fairly small and cozy and the quality of the food is high if sometimes on the experimental side, if you are looking for something decent and new Agura is a good pick.

The price is however somewhat on the high side.

Raw Lasagna (Vegetarian)

This isn’t your usual vegetarian Lasagna, it’s not even baked or cooked. This one is a fascinating (and delightfully delicious) Lasagna made entirely out of raw vegetables entirely non-processed.

All of this is freshly made, instead of Lasagna they replaced it with zuchini and cucumber, instead of a bechemel sauce there is raw yoghurt and of course plenty of fine chopped tomatoes and the green side dish there is freshly made pesto sauce.

Another close up shot of this unique Lasagna, it tastes really good and as a non-vegan I can safely say that this is one of the freshest and delicious kinds of Lasagna (or more like non-Lasagna) I’ve ever had, the dish is of course served cold and is part of a detox program designed by the Chef at the Shambala Resort in Ubud.

The philosophy behind “raw foods” i.e. non processed is that it’s a lot more healthier and essentially helps you to body cleanse yourself as supposed to processed foods, meats etc. I’m not an expert in this subject but in the next few days I will be posting more about this type of food.
