How to make Hello Kitty Cookies (something they should have inside Hello Kitty Online)

First you need this ingenious cookie cutter thing.

Then, you need to make cookie dough and make the shape before you bake it…

Since HKO is all about Oats it seems I’ve got you an Oat Meal recipe off the web, use that mix, then shape em with the cutter, and off you go!

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Also called the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, this is a favorite cookie recipe for anytime of the year.  Bake a batch to take into the office just for fun.  Your coworkers will thank you!

• 2/3 cup sugar
• 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup butter shortening
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• 3 cups old fashioned or quick cooking oats
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Mix all ingredients, except oats, flour and raisins, in a large bowl.  Stir in oats, flour, and raisins.  Cut dough with Hello Kitty Cookie Cutter by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown.  Immediately remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack for cooling.  The cookies will overcook if left on cookie sheet.

HKO and Cooking inside Hello Kitty Online

Tuesday, August 12th, 2008

So we have heard that Hello Kitty Online has cooking skills, like crab pasta and strawberry shortcakes (?!) I wonder if you can create cute cooking styles like the below!

Usually when you hear the awkward acronym “MMORPG,” which stands for massively multiplayer online role-playing game, it’s referring to some title in which elves take on dragons, or orcs battle with giant swords against shamans.

You know, your typical World of Warcraft stuff. Well there’s now a contender & the newest MMORPG went into private beta, and there’s not a battle axe in sight. But you can cook!

We bring you, courtesy of famous blogger and investor, Joi Ito: Hello Kitty Online, the new online game from Sanrio Digital.

In addition to many of the regular features of an online game, like a virtual economy, guilds and custom avatars, Hello Kitty Online will offer players “a persistent, beautifully-designed environment where thousands of players and (non-player characters) live, explore and quest in a magical world with real and imaginary zones such as the Flower Kingdom, Tokyo, Paris, Moscow and more.”
