How to make Hello Kitty Cookies (something they should have inside Hello Kitty Online)

First you need this ingenious cookie cutter thing.

Then, you need to make cookie dough and make the shape before you bake it…

Since HKO is all about Oats it seems I’ve got you an Oat Meal recipe off the web, use that mix, then shape em with the cutter, and off you go!

Oatmeal Cookie Recipe

Also called the Oatmeal Raisin Cookie, this is a favorite cookie recipe for anytime of the year.  Bake a batch to take into the office just for fun.  Your coworkers will thank you!

• 2/3 cup sugar
• 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup butter shortening
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 2 large eggs
• 3 cups old fashioned or quick cooking oats
• 1 cup all purpose flour
• 1 cup raisins

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Mix all ingredients, except oats, flour and raisins, in a large bowl.  Stir in oats, flour, and raisins.  Cut dough with Hello Kitty Cookie Cutter by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until light brown.  Immediately remove from cookie sheet to a wire rack for cooling.  The cookies will overcook if left on cookie sheet.
