You’re grooving on the Civic Musical Road - a quarter-mile stretch of asphalt in Lancaster that’s been altered - rhythmically - to produce The William Tell Overture when a car passes over it.  Part of a promotional campaign for the Honda Civic, it’s one of only four in the world - and the only such road in the United States. Sonoro’s digital audio player ‘Elements Stardust’ adorned with 3,900 Swarovski crystals.

Some thought they were immune to the dangerous cuteness that is Hello Kitty. For years they denied any attraction to Hello Kitty. They pretended to ignore the situation as slowly more and more items turned Kitty… from toasters to televisions, hand warmers to vibrators. After all Hello Kitty isn’t geeky… right? However at the end we spotted this Hello Kitty Action DJ Speaker and were unable to resist the overwhelming cuteness any further. Hello Kitty in a DJ booth with a speaker in the base is a pretty cool juxtaposition of dance music and Kitty. She even bops her head back and forth with the music. Plug in your iPod or similar music playing device and observe the cuteness for yourself. If you’re really looking to give in and completely “cute out” we recommend the pink version. Hey, we won’t judge you… we’re already there ourselves.

6a00cd970e4cda4cd500d09e511422be2b-200pi.pngHave you ever heard of Shonen Knife? It is an all-female musical band from Japan. They perform Japanese pop/punk/garage rock. Among their fans are Sonic Youth and Nirvana! They have extremely cute song names called “Fuit loop dreams”, “Hot Chocolate”, “I am a cat”, “Banana chips”, “Twist barbie” and “Cherry bomb”.

Shonen Knife’s new album “fun! fun! fun!” hit stores in Japan on July 6, 2007 to coincide with the band’s 25th anniversary. If you happen to like pop punk, you may really like their work!

You can check their official website here.

An amazing and fun music video using a puppetized soundboard by Perish Factory.
