Eien no Mikoto

May 17th, 2007 by hitori:kuririnmail.com

It didn’t take too long before the Prophecies finally took hold of the 7th Child. She was only a human after all, a girl, a princess who was forced at a young age to become a warrior to save her Kingdom. Though she felt nothing for her father, she loved her mother dearly and simply could not stand back to watch her die…

She did everything she could to please her parents, but this person is someone who shook her to the very core.

Eien no Mikoto. The Prince of Eternity. A saint in the eyes of many, even to Hitori. But she has also seen the wrath of the angered angel…

But even with all of this, he showed her that her prophecy could be altered…

She wanted to know more about him, not realizing that he too wanted to know more about her…

She did realize however, that such a decision as to getting to know someone like him could break a thousand hearts, including the ones she cared about the most. And so she decided not to let a lot of people know about this Prince, and let the Father she recognizes as God decide their fate for her… A decision not only made by herself, but also by her Prince…

Yoshikuni-sama…

April 18th, 2007 by hitori:kuririnmail.com

sesshomaru-sama.jpgUpon pursuing further studies in Advance Sorcery and Enchantments, the 7th Child had reached a near level of perfection. in her first year of merciless training, she met a gifted young healer named Yoshikuni Akito.

The first day they met was on a rainy afternoon. Hitori was running to her teacher’s place for her final exams. She was late, because she had waited too long for the rain to stop. Upon reaching a corner, she lost her footing and slipped on the wet pavement.

She braced her the inevitable impact, but it never came. Instead, she found herself leaning on someone who caught her before she fell. That was Akito-sama.

They did not introduce each other that day as both were in a hurry to catch their teachers on time. But as the days went buy, they found each other once again in the Collection of Written Knowledge. Akito was the one who first found out about Hitori’s name through some acquaintances, and began talking to her, meeting her whenever their schedules permit.

It was unfortunate that Akito had to pursue his quests in a different land. That was when they said good-bye and would not meet again for the next 5 years. Hitori does not regret letting him go, and neither does Akito. He married a Princess from the lands of his quest and visits Hitori whenever he is back in the land where they first met.

Masahiro’s Memory…

March 26th, 2007 by hitori:kuririnmail.com

There was one particular moment in the 7th Child’s like that made her thankful she met Masahiro-sempai…

It was during the time when a competition between Higher Accademics Schools tested the speed of other students.

It was in this competition that the 7th Child exceeded beyond the expectations of her peers and seniors.

The 7th Child was ridiculed as she asked to attempt the farthest run in the competition rather than the fastest… To her, it took more strength and determination to finish further and it was to finish faster.

Though even her professors discouraged her, Masahiro-sempai cheered her on. He encouraged her when they were alone and trained her secretly when no one was around.

On the day of the competition, the 7th child took her place. For a first time competitor, she was nervous. But she ran as much as she could… She continued on the impossible path no one dared to travel, and out of the 16 girls who competed, only half were able to finish, and Hitori was one of them.

It was quite unfortunate that the 7th Child lost consciousness by the time she reached the end of her task. She did not know that Masahiro was right beside her and caught her before she hit the ground. Hitori only regained consciousness a good few minutes later, realizing she had lost the competition by only a few miliseconds…

She was in pain, she was hurt, and she cried… She didn’t realize that Masahiro was still carrying her as she cried. Masahiro merely smiled, and took her away from the crowd. He sat under a tree, still craddling her in his arms and held her tightly as she cried, furious that she couldn’t prove herself to her peers, to her superiors and to her professors…

To that, he hugged her more tightly and whispered, “You’ve proven yourself to me… You are the only one from our school who was able to finish that task… You are worthy… So don’t cry anymore…

“And to me… You are priceless…”
