One would think that by now, the 7th Child would have been used to her father’s ways… For the most of her life, the 7th Child has been taught never to trust her father, and yet she must obey him without question if she wishes to live a peaceful and somewhat normal life…
But what if it would begin to take a turn for the worst? What if he was forcing her to marry someone from the neighboring kingdom just to be rid of her? Would that not be reason enough to fight back?
For the 7th Child, whom he has broken her spirit, it is no longer the case.
Her father keeps telling her that he wishes to change, he doesn’t want to d anything wrong, and yet he must always have his way, because everyone else is wrong and he is always right…
But it is rather painful when some of these traits become evident in the person she herself chooses to be with. Perhaps it is true what they say, that a child would marry the person that most resembles his or her parent.
What now, oh foolish child? You said once before that broken promises are something you cannot accept, and yet here you stand now, amidst broken promises. Will you not fight for what you believe to be right and true? Are you so afraid to be alone that you keep on believing both their words even if they are tearing you apart? Your father has no promises he keeps, and even he has broken several in a short week…
What could possibly be the end of all this?

One would think, after all these years, a memory such as Kojima Makoto’s would have been forgotten. All the pain, all the joy, they should be left in the past…
But there is trouble when you keep seeing the person you wish to forget.
Because of their past, the 7th child wished to stay away from him, but Makoto did not want to end the relationship that way. There was goodness in his intentions, but there’s sadness and pain in the 7th Child’s heart.
“To see that person to be happy, that was what I wanted. For him to find the one just for him, to see him smile, for him to feel the happiness that I felt now. That was what I thought I wanted, but why is there a twinge in my heart, every time I see him with ‘her’?”
Dearest Hitori, you must leave what’s in the past and move on. though your heart aches of confusion, envy, and jealousy, you did not make the wrong choice to let him go.
One day, when all the pain and confusion is gone, maybe you can talk to him again as if nothing happened… But you both knew there was something there, and the what ifs will never cease. Leave the past in the past, make your choice to stay away that you may move forward, head held high and strong…

It seems that times have changed… The Kingdom of the 7th Child has fallen, and she is forced to flee to the safe haven of Hamano.
Though this sudden turn of events is still uncertain, it is a big possibility. Her father, the King, and mother, the Queen have been telling her on different occasions that whoever else left in the Royal family will be taken to Hamano very soon, with the exception of her eldest brother, Kaito-san and his family.
It saddens the 7th child that she must leave, but due to the indecisiveness of the Royal Family with regards to her Fate, she now feels nothing… Her once strong spirit has become passive and quiet…
Is she still fit to rule as Queen when the time comes?
No one really knows…
This one thing is for certain…
Though her outside visage is emotionless, it doesn’t take much to make Hitori cry anymore… a huge difference from when she began her journey…
