Hello Kitty Massage Pad

Tuesday, August 5th, 2008

What’s better than a nice massage after a long day of hard work?  A Hello Kitty Massage in Pink! : D

Hello Kitty Massage Pad

Some day I really wish I can move the massage chair from my parent’s home for me to use … but knowing that my son will definitely crawls on top of it and attempts to stand while on the chair, I changed my mind!

Wonder if this massage pad is any good?  Probably not as powerful as the massage chair though!

Hello Kitty Key Caps 3

These key caps come in so many different styles I guess the hard part now is not trying to figure out which key is for which door but which key cap to use for each door : D : D : D

Doing housework is fun again with Hello Kitty

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

The RoboMop I mentioned before might not work for everybody - especially those with two stories houses (the RoboMop can’t climb stairs!) but this compact sized Hello Kitty vacuum is going to work well anywhere:

Hello Kitty Vacuum

It’s ultra light weight and can stand upright on its own - perfect for those living in a condo or for a quick cleanup at a bigger house!

Hello Kitty Vaccum (flyer)

Love it Love it : )

Hello Kitty Kaleidoscope Projector

Monday, July 7th, 2008

July 7th is the Star Festival (Tanabata) in Japan where the two stars, Vega and Altair met at the Milky way.

With the sky still lit at 10 PM here in Toronto, I probably won’t get a chance to see the stars (coz I need to watch my son while he sleeps) so I guess this Hello Kitty kaleidoscope projector can serves as an alternative!

projtector

I think Ethan would totally love this idea - he can stare at a flashlight for the longest time these days!  Actually, I have a Hello Kitty projector that project images of stars somewhere in my mom’s basement, which was meant to get babies really sleepy after staring at it for long enough, but after multiple attempts I was still unable to find it from the million boxes down the basement : (  Too bad for Ethan!

Hello Kitty Collapsible Basket

Saturday, July 5th, 2008

Good for holding dirty laundry, keeping toys out of sight, or simply anything not too heavy in general, this collapsible Hello Kitty basket can come in handy around the house:

Look at how much stuff it can hold!

I especially liked the Pink design!  : )  Would have been perfect if I own one of these in my university days where I used to carry all my dirty laundry home to wash!

Hello Kitty Rainboots

Saturday, May 17th, 2008

They might look like winter boots, but these are actually rain boots that you can wear in the summer when it rains!

It’s a good concept but I am afraid people might mistaken them as winter boots and think I am silly to wear winter boots in the summer!  hahaha

What I want for Mother’s Day!

Thursday, May 8th, 2008

A full-sized Hello Kitty carpet!

Would go so well in my Hello Kitty Room with my collection:

But it’s a little pricey (@US$159.99+shipping), and a little too big (94.5″ x 75″) … and summer’s here so I don’t really need a carpet.

Plus, it ain’t Pink!

Lemme think about it for a few more days before filing a request to YeungBaBa!  : )

The Insider look of the Hello Kitty Post-Natal Care Centre

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Some say delivering a baby is the most painful event one can ever experience, but with a lot of Hello Kitty right beside you, maybe it won’t be so bad?

I delivered Ethan with a Hello Kitty plush that I bought over myself, but mothers in Taiwan are more fortunate - they can deliver their babies and “sit the moon” (i.e. surviving the first month with a newborn) with Hello Kitty at wegogo post-natal care centre.

A couple in Taiwan returned from visiting a friend at the Centre and took some “insider pictures” - it’s definitely the cutest post-natal care centre I have ever seen!  (Even after watching the so many “Bringing Home Baby” episodes on TLC haha)

Pictures courtesy of Sharon Lee

I have seen the ads for this centre before but never got this insider look of it … really amazed!  With this, maybe baby #2 ain’t as painful anymore??? lol

Visit here for more amazing pictures of this post-natal care centre or here for the blog article on yam.com (both in Chinese).

Hello Kitty Solar-Power Charger

Monday, May 5th, 2008

You will never have to be worry about running out of power on your favourite cellphone, iPod, mp3, psp, NDS, etc. when you are out on an outdoor trip this summer with this Hello Kitty Solar-Power Charger:

This machine can absorb sunlight and convert into regular electricity.  You can even light up the built-in LED light if lights runout.  When fully charged with “sun energy”, the LED can lit for up to 48 hours!   Subtract the number of daylight hours, I think it will be sufficient to last the 72 hours recommended by the Government of Canada.

Maybe I should consider getting one to place in our emergency kit : D

Hello Kitty acting as Ambassador for China-Japan Friendship Event

Thursday, May 1st, 2008

Read on the news that Hello Kitty has been chosen as the ambassador for the April sakura festival hosted at the Embassy of Japan in China on April 19, 2008.

A little background: It has been exactly thirty years since China and Japan signed the Treaty of Peace and Friendship, so this year has been set as a “friendship exchange” year for Chinese and Japanese teenagers. In recognition of this special event, our beloved Hello Kitty has been invited to host the openning ceremony.

Here are some pictures from the event:

I think the candidate selection is totally appropriate - who else can spread the theme of love and friendship better than Hello Kitty?

Hello Kitty Grand Piano in White

Thursday, April 24th, 2008

I have always imagined that when Master Ethan grew up and he no longer needs a playroom, we can convert the was “living room” into a “Grand piano room” with a white grand piano in the middle of the room … how nice would that be!

Of course, the ‘vision’ would be even ‘more’ perfect if the piano has Hello Kitty on it, just like this one:

Too bad this piano is miniature sized, and … none of us in the Yeung’s can play the piano, or, at least, not yet!

RoboMop x Hello Kitty

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

Being a busy (and lazy!) mom, it’s not always easy to find time to do all the necessary cleaning around the house, but rest assured, Hello Kitty is here to the rescue!

And I present to you - a Hello Kitty robotic mopping machine!

The RoboMop is designed to clean a typical 12 mat size room in just 30 minutes, even hitting hard to reach places like under beds and sofas, noiselessly picking up dust and pet hair along the way.

When finished, all you need to do is throw the dust sheet into the trash.

The Hello Kitty RoboMop, in classic Hello Kitty red, is designed to clean flooring, tile, and linoleum.

See it in action here (unfortunately the narration is in Japanese):

This is maybe just what I need for Mother’s Day hahahahahahahaha

My Hello Kitty Kitchen

Thursday, April 17th, 2008

Bought this really cute item for my kitchen during our recent trip to Hong Kong which inspired me to start a blog article about my kitchen.

Although I no longer have a pink shaded kitchen like I used to at our first place (a condo), my new kitchen has a lot more room for me to put my stuff so they don’t have to be hiding above the fridge nor down in the basement locker.

Here is the latest addition to my kitchen - a Hello Kitty Babies Shelf:

I really really liked it and it works well to keep all the spoons and forks and straws and scissors and lunchboxes for Master Ethan, LOVE IT!

Other things I have in my kitchen includes:

A toaster oven made in 1998 - still in perfect working condition!

A tissue box cover for me to put everything I need to clean up Master Ethan (I think this is one of the very first gift YeungBaBa ever bought me!)

A utility box to hold our extra food items (my extended pantry which used to hide at the back of my CR-V)

and of course a few Hello Kitty shopping bags to hold our groceries : )

There are a few other things there which I have forgotten to take pictures of like our pair mugs, bowls and seasoning rack, but I think you get an idea how Hello Kitty is around my kitchen everywhere … hehehehehehe
